Risoluzione dei problemi di SEG o di SWA Factory Reset mediante enablediag

Introduzione

Questo documento descrive come ripristinare gli accessori hardware SEG o SWA, se si utilizza il metodo di autenticazione enable.

Prerequisiti

Componenti usati

• Cisco Secure Email Gateway (SEG) AsyncOS 14.2.2 o versioni successive
• Cisco Secure Web Appliance (SWA) AsyncOS 14.5.1-008 o versioni successive

Le informazioni discusse in questo documento fanno riferimento a dispositivi usati in uno specifico ambiente di emulazione. Su tutti i dispositivi menzionati nel documento la configurazione è stata ripristinata ai valori predefiniti. Se la rete è operativa, valutare attentamente eventuali conseguenze derivanti dall'uso dei comandi.

Problema

Non è possibile accedere a SEG/SWA tramite WebUI o la rete se l'aggiornamento non riesce o i servizi vengono danneggiati, l'unica opzione disponibile è RMA. Questa funzionalità consente di ripristinare le impostazioni predefinite dell'accessorio ed evitare la necessità di una procedura RMA.

Soluzione

1. Accedere al SEG/SWA tramite la console o una sessione terminale Ethernet.

2. Accedere con queste credenziali:

• Nome utente:enablediag
• Password: password amministratore

3. Eseguire il comando reimposta accessorio.

4. Selezionare l'opzione della versione precedente richiesta dall'elenco visualizzato.

5. Confermare l'operazione di ripristino.

6. Attendere che l'accessorio cancelli tutte le impostazioni ai valori predefiniti di sistema, inclusa la rimozione delle impostazioni IP di rete.

7. Verificare che SEG/SWA sia tornato a uno stato pulito e non configurato e che sia pronto per l'installazione.

Eseguire l'output di esempio del processo Resetappliance.

This command will revert the appliance to a previous version of AsyncOS.

Warning: Reverting the appliance is extremely destructive.
The following data will be destroyed in the process and should be backed up:
 - current system configuration file
 - all log files
 - all reporting data (including saved scheduled and archived reports)
 - any custom end user notification pages
 - current network settings

Reverting the device will cause a reboot to take place.
After rebooting, the appliance reinitializes itself and reboots
again to the desired version, with default system configuration.

This command will revert the appliance to a previous version of AsyncOS.

- all log files
- all databases (including messages in Virus Outbreak and Policy quarantines)
- all reporting data (including saved scheduled reports)
- all message tracking data
- all IronPort Spam Quarantine message and end-user safelist/blocklist data


Before running this command, be sure you have:
- saved the configuration file of this appliance (with passwords unmasked)
- exported the IronPort Spam Quarantine safelist/blocklist database
  to another machine (if applicable)
- waited for the mail queue to empty

Reverting the device causes an immediate reboot to take place.
After rebooting, the appliance reinitializes itself and reboots
again to the desired version.
