Overview

Cisco NBAR2 Protocol Pack 63.0.0 release includes the following updates:

  • New protocols: amazon-chime, amazon-chime-media, zoom-phone

  • Improvements to classification of these protocols: bacnet, citrix, edonkey, ms-services, webex-app-sharing, webex-audio, webex-media, webex-meetings, webex-video

  • Deprecated protocols: gtalk, cisco-spark, cisco-spark-audio, cisco-spark-media, cisco-spark-video

  • Amazon Chime application on Microsoft Windows and macOS devices using Amazon Chime release 4.39.10374.0, build #1.0.215601.0

  • Amazon Chime browser-based application build #1.0.218529

To classify datagram transport layer security (DTLS) traffic produced by Amazon Chime, NBAR must first inspect the DNS request made by the Amazon Chime application, related to the session producing the DTLS traffic.

NBAR2 Protocol Packs are available for download on the Cisco software download page (https://software.cisco.com/download/home). On the download page, specify a platform model to display software available for download. One software option will be NBAR2 Protocol Packs.

Example

To display Protocol Packs available for the Cisco ASR 1001 platform, enter "ASR 1001 Router" in the search field.

You can also enter a platform series, such as "ASR 1000 Series," and then select a model from the results.
