This document describes why queues that are no longer needed cannot be deleted in the Queues pane.

The information in this document was created from the devices in a specific lab environment. All of the devices used in this document started with a cleared (default) configuration. If your network is live, make sure that you understand the potential impact of any command.
A queue cannot be deleted if there are jobrun records associated with it. The jobrun table contains a Foreign Key Relationship to the quemst table.
In order to resolve this issue, perform one of these actions:
Manually purge all jobrun records associated with the queue.
Select the Automatic Daily History Cleanup System Configuration option in order to have these records automatically purged once the retention period has expired.
