Eurotech and its subsidiary Parvus Corporation manufacture ruggedized Cisco switch and router subsystems for military, aerospace, and railway platforms. Certified to MIL-STD-810G and/or EN50155 standards, these rugged Cisco-based mobile networking solutions are optimized for Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) and ready for deployment in ground vehicle, aircraft, maritime, and/or rolling stock applications.
Parvus' DuraMAR 5915 integrates the Cisco 5915 Series Embedded Services Router (ESR) card in an ultra-rugged chassis designed for MIL/Aero IP networking technology refresh and situational awareness applications.
Eurotech's DynaMAR 30-5915 also based on the Cisco 5915 ESR is a rolling stock (railway) router with seamless wireless roaming support for mobile communications on the move (COTM) in transportation environments.
Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is a leader in the design, manufacture, and support of standard and custom embedded computing solutions. X-ES provides an extensive portfolio of commercial and ruggedized Single Board Computers (SBCs) based on Intel® Core i7processors and Freescale® PowerPC and QorIQ processors, I/O, SSD storage, backplanes, enclosures, power modules, and integrated systems. X-ES™ 3U and 6U VPX, 3U and 6U CompactPCI, VME, and XMC/PMC products are used in a wide range of compute intensive military, communications, commercial, and industrial applications.
The Cisco 5940 Embedded Service Router is integrated into 3U CompactPCI development platforms and deployable ATR systems. The development platforms can be configured with a variety of X-ES 3U CompactPCI SBCs as well as X-ES and third-party storage and I/O boards to meet the application needs. These are open systems on which customers can develop their application. When lab development is completed, 100% of the air- and conduction-cooled payload modules can easily be migrated to a deployable system. Conduction-cooled payload modules are integrated into X-ES conduction-cooled, forced-air cooled (for conduction-cooled modules), or convection/conduction-cooled sub-1/2 ATR chassis for deployment.
The Johnson Controls and Cisco alliance is an industry-leading collaboration that delivers world-class converged network systems (building, business and specialty) and services to mutual customers. Our converged and integrated building infrastructure solutions increase energy efficiency and sustainability, improve operational performance, maximize real estate portfolio value, and ensure seamless incorporation of future technologies.
Whether new construction or retrofit, Johnson Controls works with Owners, Architects, Engineers and Contractors as a single point of contact - the Technology Contractor - by assuming responsibility for all building technologies and voice, video and data networks. This holistic, coordinated effort, reduces infrastructure and system duplication through the implementation of a single network, minimizing risk and technical complexity by reducing the number of disparate systems and networks, creating a better, smarter, more productive enterprise environment for employees, tenants and visitors.
The KlasVoyager is a next-generation flyaway case built around the Cisco 5915 router. It is designed for customers who run a Cisco-based secure network and only want to support Cisco-based flyaway systems on this network. This makes maintenance and support more efficient as only one kind of router needs to be supported and the customer can leverage the Cisco-trained engineering team already in place. The KlasVoyager marks an evolution in the Klas product line by combining industry-standard Cisco technology with over 10 years experience in creating small and light flyaway solutions.
