大トロント空港管理委員会（Greater Toronto Airport Authority: GTAA）はシスコシステムズの技術に着目し、トロント ピアソン国際空港の最新鋭のターミナルにおいて、インターネット プロトコル（IP）ネットワーキングの利点を活用することにしました。シスコのネットワークは、施設の管理会社やテナント、ベンダー、旅行者のデータ、音声、動画、ならびにワイヤレス通信システムのすべてに対応しています。トロント空港のネットワークは、シスコが最近発表したIntelligent Transportation Solutionsプログラムの機能を示すショーケースとなるでしょう。Intelligent Transportation Solutionsは、空港や道路、鉄道、港湾の管理機関に適した、ネットワーキング製品やサービスを独自に組み合わせたものです。
