This document explains the recovery/repair procedure for the Converged Infrastructure Video Security Device.

Recovery Procedure
This is the step-by-step recovery procedure:

Connect an external USB drive, and boot the box with the Gold CD.

Log on as root with the password cledne.

At the prompt, run these commands:
umount -f /dev/sda1 umount -f /dev/sda2 fsck.ext3 -f -yC 0 /dev/sda1 ==> It should take a few minutes. fsck.ext3 -f -yC 0 /dev/sda2 ==> Will take some time (an hour or two) -
When it is finished, run this command:
reboot

The box starts to reboot. Remove the USB CD cable from the box, and let the box boot from itself.
