VoIP Application: Click-to-Talk
Metreos Click-to-Talk is a general-purpose dialing application that is compatible with Cisco CallManager. Click-to-Talk is usable by any CallManager user with a valid username, password, and Cisco 7940, 7960, or 7970 IP phone. The application enables users to select individuals to call (for example, from a Microsoft Outlook contact list), click a button, and have their IP phone dial that user. In addition, calls made using Click-to-Talk may be recorded and may include multi-party conference calls.
The Metreos Click-to-Talk application comes bundled with a plug-in to Microsoft Outlook. Other plug-ins developed by the end user will allow calls from any HTTP-capable endpoint. Click-to-Talk comes with a robust XML over HTTP API allowing for easy integrations into other applications such as instant messaging.
