Australia's first female Winter Olympic Gold Medalist, Alisa Camplin, possesses that rare story telling ability that inspires, entertains and transfers knowledge. Tens of thousands of people have been motivated, laughed and cried, and walked away with a toolkit of skills to create their own success after listening to Australia's premier female speaker. Learning to ski at just 19 years of age, Alisa broke nearly every bone in her body as she climbed through the ranks, brought home back-to-back Olympic medals and dominated the sport of Freestyle Aerial Skiing.

At the same time, Alisa built a global career with corporate giant IBM, leading $200M+ businesses as a senior executive working across brand strategy, sales, business development and service delivery. Proving that success is a choice, Alisa then turned heart-wrenching personal adversity into an opportunity to improve the lives of others, raising more than $1M through her charity Finnan's Gift. Courtney Dodds

Mr. Courtney Dodds is the Director of the Data Centre Portfolio for Cisco Australia and New Zealand. In this role, Dodds is responsible for the data centre business that has been identified as one of the primary areas of focus across Cisco.

Together with our strategic alliance and channel partner community, Dodds is focused on delivering value for our customers through business-relevant technologies and solutions that are application-centric and policy-driven. He leads a team that is responsible for accelerating customer success in hybrid clouds with an application-aware network as the fundamental foundation.

A six-year veteran of Cisco, Dodds has cultivated extensive data centre sales and management experience as the team led Cisco to the market share leader in x86 blade servers in Australia (Source: IDC).  He is well known for his vast experience and deep contacts in mid-market and enterprise organisations across all industry verticals.  His previous role was business development manager for the state of Victoria, Australia.

Prior to Cisco, Dodds worked for various IT companies over the past ten years, including HP and IBM.

Dodds holds a Bachelor Degree in Business from the University of Swinburne in Melbourne, Australia.

As the Director of Global Sales for UCS, Jeremy Foster is charged with driving cross functional execution for Cisco’s compute and converged infrastructure solutions. In this capacity, he builds internal and external stakeholder alignment across field sales, sales support, partners, alliances and other influencers to identify mutually beneficial opportunities for UCS, a $3B+ growth business. Responsible for developing and managing GTM strategies, programs and processes, he is passionate about removing roadblocks and finding new ways to help Cisco teams, partners and customers win together.

Jeremy’s more than 15+ years selling Data Centre solutions has been distinguished by over-achievement of targets and high customer satisfaction levels. He has lead in roles at various companies ranging from Datacentre Facillites (Power/Cooling), Software and Server technologies. He is particularly excited about the future of UCS, Cisco’s fastest-growth product to get to $1B, and looks forward to helping the eco-system capitalise on market-momentum as Cisco continues to deliver innovative solutions that drive value for Fortune 1000, public sector, service providers and SMB clients.

Soni Jianani

Soni Jiandani serves as Senior Vice President of Marketing for the Insieme Business Unit at Cisco. Insieme is building next generation data center solutions with its Software Defined Networking vision - Application Centric Infrastructure - and is responsible for Cisco's Merchant and Merchant Plus Switching Portfolio, including the Nexus 3000 and 9000 portfolios. Insieme had been an outside venture until November 2013 when the team rejoined Cisco. Soni Is driven to deliver a dynamic, agile, fast, secure, scalable, reliable infrastructure that can respond to automation and meet the needs and demands of tomorrow's applications.

Soni has been a key member of the entrepreneurial teams that developed everything from the Nexus 5000 to Cisco's Unified Computing System. Prior to Insieme, Soni was the Senior Vice President for Cisco's Server Access Virtualization Technology Group. She was responsible for the development and implementation of the Cisco-wide strategy for Data Center Access and virtualization solutions, including Unified Computing System and Unified Fabric (Nexus 2K-5K portfolio). Under her leadership, this portfolio grew to a multi-billion dollar business and today enjoys the #1 spot in U.S. market share and #2 in Europe.

Another venture Soni helped to lead focused on Data Center transformations. At Nuova Systems, Soni was a co-founder and Senior Vice President of Marketing and Partnerships. At Nuova, Soni and the executive team defined and built the Nexus 2K, 5K Unified Fabric and the Unified Computing System. In this role, she was responsible for the development and implementation of marketing, technology partnerships and sales strategy programs.

Throughout her career at Cisco, Soni has played key roles in creating and executing strategic initiatives and driving product marketing development in the LAN switching arena. She served as Vice President and General Manager of Cisco's LAN and SAN switching business unit within the Data Center, Switching and Wireless Technology Group. In this role, she helped to grow the industry leading Catalyst 6000, 6500 modular switches portfolio to a multi-billion dollar business and create a comprehensive portfolio of intelligent MDS SAN switches, making Cisco the market leader in modular SANs.

Soni also served as Vice President of Marketing for the Cisco Internet Systems Business Unit and Vice President, Marketing for the Workgroup Business Unit. Her contributions enabled Cisco to secure its leadership position in Ethernet LAN switching.

Prior to her tenure at Cisco, Soni was a marketing executive at UB Networks responsible for Virtual LANs and LAN switching market development. She also took on a sales role as Regional Manager, developing markets for the company in India. Prior to UB Networks, she drove numerous market development programs at Novell.

Soni holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from London University in England.

Nigel came to Puppet Labs from Google HQ in Mountain View, where he was responsible for the design and implementation of one of the largest Puppet deployments in the world. At Puppet, Nigel was responsible for development of the initial versions of Puppet Enterprise, and has since served in a variety of roles, including Head of Product, CTO and CIO. He has been deeply involved in Puppet's DevOps initiatives, and regularly speaks around the world about adoption of DevOps in the enterprise and IT organisational transformation.

Denis Maguire

Mr. Denis Maguire is the Regional Manager of the Data Centre Sales team for Cisco Australia and New Zealand. In this role, Maguire is responsible for the continued growth and adoption of Cisco’s DC solutions across ANZ.

Together with our strategic alliance and channel partner community, Maguire leads a team of Data Centre experts focused on delivering value to our customers through business-relevant data centre technologies and solutions. Cisco’s focus on open standards and policy based solutions to provide simplicity, efficiency and flexibility across both private and public cloud solutions.

During his three-years at Cisco, Maguire has been part of a broader high performing team that has once again resulted in Cisco achieving the market share leader positon in x86 blade servers in Australia (Source: IDC). Prior to his current role, Maguire focused on selling Cisco’s Data Centre solutions into Cisco’s top enterprise accounts across New South Wales.

Prior to Cisco, Maguire worked for various IT companies over the past twenty years, including NetApp, Onyx Software and Andersen Consulting.

Maguire holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics from Bucknell University in Pennsylvania, USA.

David Mellers

David is responsible for Intel's Enterprise Solutions strategy throughout Australia and New Zealand. In his role, David oversees the delivery of Intel business technology solutions as the enterprise comes to grips with the changing face of technology.

In particular, with the Internet of Things emerging as the next industrial revolution, David is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of Intel's local IoT strategy, providing expertise in helping businesses securely capture, filter, process, store and analyse data for key business insights.

In addition to IoT, big data, and cloud computing solutions, David's team also focuses on providing suitable end user client computing platforms. His team concentrates on key industries such as banking, telecommunications, transport, health, government and scientific research.

David has been with Intel for more than 10 years. Prior to his current role, David spearheaded much of Intel's growth during his seven years as Business Development Manager for Australia and New Zealand. Throughout that time he developed and nurtured strong customer relationships, with a focus on the Federal and New South Wales Government.

Simon Miceli

Mr. Simon Miceli is a Data Centre Specialist for Cisco Australia. In this role, Miceli is responsible for driving Cisco data centre technology preference into the South Australian, Victorian and Tasmanian markets across a range of government, enterprise and mid-market accounts.

Together with our strategic alliance and channel partner community, Miceli is focused on delivering value for our customers through business-relevant technologies and solutions that are application-centric and policy-driven.

With fourteen years' experience in IT, Miceli has gained extensive data centre experience across a wide variety of technology. His previous role was business development manager for servers and storage at Hewlett Packard.

Miceli holds a Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Telecommunications and Networks) and a Bachelor Degree in Applied Science (Multimedia Design) from Swinburne University, as well as an MBA from Melbourne Business School at University of Melbourne.

Carlos Pereira

Carlos Pereira is a Distinguished Systems Engineer II at Cisco Systems involved in Cloud, ACI, SDN & Data Centre designs and architectures. Carlos's expertise includes: end-to-end DC virtualisation; BigData and Hadoop; SDN (software defined networking); Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI); routing & DC switching; DC security; Storage & SAN environments and design; servers (big-iron, blades, rack-mounts and Unified Computing); hypervisors, Linux Containers (Docker) and virtualised services / NfV; high-performance computing (HPC) & HFT; applications integration and optimisation; mission critical applications; cloud orchestration and InterCloud;

During his more than fourteen years at Cisco, Carlos was initially in charge of Tier-1 channels technical development and since 2004 works as a Consultant and Technologist for Data Centre, SDN and Cloud projects. Carlos holds a electronics engineering degree from Brazilian Navy Academy and a computers engineering degree from University of Sao Paulo (Brazil).
