Wendy Bahr

Wendy Bahr
Senior Vice President, Cisco Global Partner Organisation, Cisco

Wendy Bahr is the Senior Vice President of Cisco’s Global Partner Organisation. She has responsibility for managing and supporting 60,000+ global partners who represent the company’s primary route to market. Encompassing system integrators, value-added resellers, distributors, services partners, independent software vendors, and technology partners, this global connected partner ecosystem accounts for more than 80 percent of Cisco’s revenue and is a unique differentiator in helping deliver business outcomes for customers and driving growth for Cisco.   

Bahr and her team are responsible for developing strategic initiatives and program innovations that create profitable growth and capacity for Cisco and its partners. With innovative solutions and services based on complementary technologies from Cisco and its partners, Bahr and her team ensure partners have the right capabilities and skills to serve existing and new market opportunities.

Bahr previously lead the Americas Partner Organisation for Cisco, which encompassed a team of nearly 600 employees and over 23,000 partners. In this role, she was responsible for partner enablement, partner profitability, and product and service sales growth with partners in Cisco's largest geographical region (United States, Canada, and Latin America) with annual revenues over $18 billion. 

Prior, Bahr led Cisco’s Global and Strategic Partner Organisation where she was responsible for more than $9.5 billion in revenue through the company's largest and most strategic systems integrators, service providers, and ecosystem partners. She was also responsible for Cisco's Global Executive Briefing Centres and Proposals Team, supervising more than 30 Executive and Customer Briefing locations around the world.  Bahr also oversaw Cisco's Global Sales Associates Program, which trains new college hires as sales and engineering professionals. Bahr has also been the Senior Vice President of U.S. and Canada Channels, Vice President of U.S. Commercial and Field Channels, Operations Director of Federal Civilian Agencies, and Operations Director of Network Service Providers.

Bahr has spent more than 20 years in sales and technology. Prior to joining Cisco, she was with Verizon for more than 10 years. In her latest role there she was the Director of Enterprise Sales, leading a sales and engineering team focused on Fortune 500 companies and the public sector.

Bahr has received numerous industry accolades and was most recently recognized in the Top Women of the Channel by CRN for 2007-2015, as a 2015 CRN Channel Chief, and as YWCA TWIN Honoree in 2012.

Bahr is a member of Cisco Empowered Women’s Network and a former member of the Gender Diversity Operations Committee. She is a coach and mentor for Cisco's Women Unlimited program, while also personally mentoring dozens Cisco employees. Her passion for diversity underlies her participation in Cisco's Women's Perspective Sessions, Senior Leadership Diversity Panels, and the Women's Channel Leadership Forum.

Bahr holds a bachelor of business arts degree in communications from Old Dominion University.  Married to her husband Eric for over 33 years, they reside in Los Gatos CA.

Vicki Batka

Vicki Batka
Managing Director, Partner Organisation, Cisco, Asia Pacific and Japan

Vicki Batka is the Managing Director of Cisco’s Partner Organisation in the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. She is responsible for developing and enabling the growth strategy of Cisco’s APJ partner ecosystem, including distributors, global strategic partners, independent software vendors (ISVs), systems integrators and resellers. In addition to nurturing existing partner relationships, Vicki is also responsible for building the future partnerships needed to deliver compelling value to customers.

Vicki leads a team that collaborates with more than 10,000 partners across the region to drive simplicity, ensure alignment, and create value exchange with the partner community. Vicki sees her role as a true advocate for partners, representing their needs across various organisations within Cisco and ensuring partners and customers remain at the center of Cisco’s APJ strategy. As a member of Cisco’s APJ senior leadership board, she works closely with the Global Partner Organisation to scale global channel models to the APJ region, driving business growth across all market segments.

Prior to her current role, Vicki was Cisco’s Managing Director, Data Center Sales, APJ. Aside from growing the Data Centre and Virtualisation business in the region, Vicki drove Data Centre-related channel partner relationships.

Vicki is a 30-year veteran of IT and has held senior positions in management, sales and marketing for SAP, VMware, CA Technologies, Adobe, Toshiba and Network Associates.

Vicki has spent 28 years of her IT-career focused on channels, with broad experience across all hardware and software product segments, channel sales models and various routes to market. Based in Asia for over a decade, she has an extensive network across the APJ partner ecosystem with resellers, distributors, systems integrators and ISV partners.

In previous roles, Vicki has been responsible for the entire partner ecosystem, including her time at VMware where this contributed to 95% of all sales revenue. She has spoken at many technology events across Asia Pacific and is often called upon by leading industry publications for comments on channel and IT trends.

Vicki is the leader of Lean In’s Women in Tech Asia chapter and takes a keen interest in coaching and mentoring. In her spare time, she enjoys photography and exploring the wonderful food offerings of Asia, especially with her husband Richard and young son Marcus.

Kevin Bloch

Kevin Bloch
Chief Technology Officer, Cisco, Australia and New Zealand

Kevin Bloch is Chief Technology Officer at Cisco. He provides leadership of technology vision as well as leadership of people within Cisco to communicate and execute on that vision. Kevin is a member of the global Cisco CTO Forum, Cisco's most senior technology leadership board, representing APAC, Japan and China (APJC). He is also currently active on external commercial and government technology advisory boards.

Before joining Cisco 14 years ago, Kevin held senior positions with other telecommunications equipment manufacturers, systems integrators and service providers including Lucent, JNA Telecommunications and Telstra. Kevin is the author of six technical reference books.

Ken Boal

Ken Boal
Vice President, Cisco, Australia and New Zealand

Ken Boal is Vice President of Cisco Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). He has a twenty-year plus track record in the IT and Communications industry, supporting organisations in the public and private sector achieve transformational change powered by technology. Boal’s responsibility is to lead Cisco in ANZ to achieve growth and technology market leadership. Ken and his team support customers and partners implement new digital business innovations leveraging the Internet of Things and Fast IT, whilst addressing cyber security.

Boal is passionate and committed to working with business and the higher education sector to enhance Australia’s role in the knowledge economy, and the shift to the digital economy. Boal is the President of the Business/Higher Education (B/HERT) Roundtable and was appointed to the Commonwealth Science Council in October 2014.

Prior to joining Cisco, Boal spent 10 years at Anixter Inc/ NetStar, an Asia Pacific network systems integrator as Southern Region General Manager. Boal graduated from the University of Queensland in 1991 with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Communications & Electronics).

He currently lives in Melbourne with his wife and three children.

Jason Brouwers

Jason is responsible for the overall strategic direction and leadership of the Cisco Australia and New Zealand Partner Organisation. He leads a dedicated team that develops the initiatives and programs that strive to increase profitable growth for partners across enterprise, public sector, service provider and commercial.

Jason is known for driving a transformational agenda, which includes an expansion of the Cisco Partner Ecosystem to include application and new services/consulting partners. His team is focused on ensuring all partners are enabled with the right capabilities and skills to meet customers' evolving needs, while accelerating market transitions, such as cloud, mobility, IoE, cybersecurity and enterprise collaboration.

In Jason's 17 years at Cisco he has held a diverse range of sales and leadership roles. His roles have included Business Development, Service Provider Account Management, Enterprise Account Management and a Northern Region leadership role in the Commercial business.

Prior to Cisco, Jason worked at Optus for 5 years – in contact centre consulting, business analyst and project management roles.

Jason lives in Sydney and is married with 3 children. His interests include photography and building guitars.

Stephen Dane

Managing Director, Global Security Sales Organisation (GSSO), Cisco, Asia Pacific and Japan

Stephen Dane is Managing Director of Cisco’s Global Security Sales Organization (GSSO) for Asia Pacific and Japan. He is responsible for the growth and profitability of Cisco’s security business in the region, driving Cisco as the No. 1 security partner and advisor to customers and partners.

With more than two decades of expertise in the IT and Telecom industry, Stephen is well-known and experienced in developing security businesses, and in positioning security as integral to the business strategy of all organisations. Stephen has been with Cisco for seven years, and was previously the EMEA Vice President for cloud-based web security company ScanSafe, which was acquired by Cisco in December 2009. He was responsible for integrating the ScanSafe business into Cisco, and has since also led the UK Network and Content Security team.

Prior to joining Cisco, Stephen held various positions with BT in the UK and across Asia Pacific, managing teams focusing on the Financial Services industry and the Energy sector. He has also worked for cloud and mobile software start-up companies such as MessageLabs and iPass, where he developed strategic alliances and built business in emerging markets across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Stephen served as Managing Director of iPass (UK) Ltd before joining ScanSafe.

Diwakar Dayal

Diwakar Dayal
Security Channel Director, Cisco, Asia Pacific, Japan and China

Diwakar Dayal is the Security Channel Leader for Cisco’s Global Security Sales Organisation in the Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China (APJ & GC) region. In his current role with Cisco, he is directly responsible for developing and executing Cisco’s security channel strategy and go-to-market, while driving growth, profitability, partner enablement and security practice development for Cisco’s Security partners across the region. He works closely with channel partners and distributors across the region to help build security thought Leadership in the partner ecosystem while building larger mind share and wallet Share for Cisco security business.

Diwakar joined Cisco in 2010 and prior to this role he was responsible for leading & building the security business for India and SAARC region, driving consistent growth and creating mind share for security architecture while helping customers and partners successfully leverage Cisco security technology to solve complex security and business issues.

Before Cisco, Diwakar was with Juniper Networks as leader of Banking and Financial Services Vertical sales responsible for creating Juniper's entry into Indian FSI market. In an earlier role with Juniper, he was also responsible for the Advanced Technology portfolio growing the Security & WAN Acceleration business for India and SAARC in both service provider and enterprise markets.

Prior to that, Diwakar also worked with Dimension Data, where he helped setup the Security Line of Business working with multiple leading security industry vendors. Diwakar has also spent time on the consulting and system integration business as part of Wipro and Sify where he was responsible for helping build the PKI Security business around Verisign products and offering Security consulting services to large enterprise customers.

He has close to 20 years of experience in security industry across sales, strategy and consulting involving cross-architectural technology solutions in IT Networking, Security and Collaboration areas working with global organisations like Cisco, Juniper, Dimension Data and Wipro.

He earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) and is a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) with strong background in IT security and is a Cyber Security enthusiast. Diwakar is based in Singapore.

Rob De Nicolo

Director Enterprise Networking, Cisco, Australia and New Zealand

As the Director of Cisco’s Enterprise Networking Business for Australia and New Zealand, Robert is responsible for developing solutions and strategies that drive the adoption of Cisco’s Routing, Switching and Mobility solutions. Robert is passionate about working with customers and partners to assist them in understanding how Cisco’s technology can be leveraged to deliver improved business outcomes. Robert has been in the IT industry for more than 20 years, working both with and for, a number of large Enterprise organisations.

Robert holds a BSc-Genetics, as well as post-graduate qualifications in Computer Science and Digital Communications. Robert lives in Melbourne with his wife and daughter.

Chris Dedicoat

As EVP for Worldwide Sales and Field Operations for Cisco, Chris Dedicoat is responsible for sales, operations, growth initiatives, and investments in strategic alliances across the globe. With 20 years of leadership experience at Cisco, Chris has deep expertise in building strategic customer relationships, and his passion for customer success is the foundation of the culture for the Sales organisation.

Chris sponsors a number of global initiatives geared towards helping customers drive to digitisation and achieve higher levels of innovation and productivity through technology. In addition to being a frequent speaker at industry and government events, he engages with key business and political leaders by advising them on transformational agendas to turn major economic and societal challenges into opportunities.

Leadership and talent development is a key priority for Chris. He believes that people are central to success and therefore places tremendous focus on building world-class teams that are well equipped to lead Sales for the digital age. He is committed to building an inclusive and diverse organisation that reflects the world at large in which everyone can contribute and reach their full potential.  Sam Gerner

Sam's career in the information technology and communications industry spans 23 years and includes time at Fujitsu and EMC before he joined Cisco in 1999.

At Cisco, Sam has held various sales and management roles in Australia and throughout the Asia Pacific region. From 2008 until 2010 Sam held the position of Director, SMB Sales in the Asia Pacific region including the rapidly developing economies of India and China. Since returning to Australia, Sam has lead teams responsible for engagements with the Utility, Media and Service Provider markets including leading Cisco’s initial successes with the Australian Government owned NBNCo.

In 2012 Sam was asked to lead Cisco Australia & New Zealand's sales and marketing strategy for cloud and managed services – a role that was expanded to include Asia Pacific and Japan in 2015.

Currently Sam leads the sales teams engaged with Cisco's largest Enterprise Accounts in Australia. Due to their strategic use of Cisco technology and the ability of this technology to enable constructive change, this group of customers is referred to as "Transformational Accounts".

Sam has two teenage sons and spends much of his spare time supporting their sporting and extra-curricular endeavours. He is also actively involved in a number of community organisations that support those with disadvantage, homelessness, mental-health and substance abuse issues.

Rodney Hamill

Rodney is responsible for the execution of Cisco’s Cloud strategy in Australia and New Zealand. He leads a dedicated team that work with partners and customers across enterprise, public sector, service provider and commercial markets to capture opportunities arising from the transition to Cloud.

During his 6 years at Cisco Rodney has held Account Management and Business Development roles prior to taking the Cloud Leadership role for Australia New Zealand. Before joining Cisco Rodney worked at Optus for 7 years in its newly emerging ICT business and has held various leadership and technical roles across other areas of the industry.

With more than 20 years of technical, business and sales leadership experience in the ICT industry, Rodney has a diverse ICT background that provides great insight into emerging market transitions.

Rodney holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Management from The University of Melbourne and a Master of Business (IT) degree from RMIT. Living in Melbourne, Rodney is a push over for tech gadgets, loves a round of golf and is a keen photographer.

Franz Koppl

Franz is responsible for managing Partners to enable them to be profitable through the various programs and initiatives that Cisco provides to the Market. Of particular focus is to assist Partners to adapt to the ever changing market conditions which requires a potentially different looking "Channel of the Future” which would require some different skills and Ecosystem partnering between differing Partner organisations to provide customers with the Business Outcomes that is driving the market today.

Franz has been at Cisco for 7 years and in this period his roles have included being a Telepresence Subject Matter Expert, Collaboration Product Sales Specialist before embarking on Partner Management. Franz has been in the IT Industry for 30 years and prior to Cisco has spend time at both Oracle and Novell in various leadership positions including Sales Management and APJ Partner Leadership roles. Sanjiv Mahajan

Sanjiv Mahajan is leading the Customer Success and Adoption team in Cisco, Australia and New Zealand. Sanjiv’s responsibility is to ensure that customers successfully adopt and realise maximum value from their software subscriptions and Smart services utilising multiple GTM strategies including partner enablement.

With over 25 years of experience in the ICT industry, 9 years of which at Cisco, Sanjiv has in-depth understanding of service management, business development, his consultative approach and building strong relationships with some of the strategic customers and partners. Prior to joining Cisco, Sanjiv was responsible for managing and delivering strategic business programs at Optus and Professional Services at Fujitsu.

Sanjiv is also an ITIL Expert, holds MBA degree from UTS Sydney and Bachelors in Electronics Engineering.

Helena Ng

Helena Ng
Sales Business Development Manager, Cisco, Australia and New Zealand

Helena leads the development of the Cisco Start portfolio & drives its execution using associated buying programs specifically designed to capture the Small to Medium Business market across Australia & New Zealand. Her over 20 year career in the IT industry spans business development, strategic program management, technology marketing, professional services and systems engineering. Outside of her 12 years with Cisco, she has also delivered results at other large multinational IT vendors, a couple of successful US technology vendor startups and with service provider, covering telecommunications and enterprise clients across ANZ and many years in the Asia Pacific market. Functional and geographic breadth of experience makes her well placed to find pathways for capturing new market opportunity and to execute for impact.

Helena holds an honours level bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management. She is committed to making a positive contribution towards addressing the STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) pipeline shortage in Australia and in womens participation in Engineeering and IT.

Frank Palumbo

Frank Palumbo
Senior Vice President Worldwide Data Centre and Enterprise Networking Sales, Cisco

As Senior Vice President of Global Data Centre/Virtualisation and Enterprise Networking Sales at Cisco, Frank Palumbo is responsible for growing the company’s unified fabric data centre architecture and enterprise networking sales, while helping customers achieve positive business outcomes. The portfolio under Palumbo’s purview encompasses servers, security, switches, management and automation and multi-cloud orchestration solutions, as well as networking, including storage, virtual, application and enterprise networking.

Palumbo has been instrumental in creating Cisco’s data centre business five years ago and growing it into the market leader that it is today. Prior to joining Cisco 20 years ago, Palumbo held a number of sales and marketing roles at Wang Laboratories.

Palumbo holds a degree in business administration from Rutgers University, and has a passion for marathons, triathlons, Giants and Yankees.

Jeff Reed

Jeff Reed
Senior Vice President, Enterprise Networks, Cisco

Jeff Reed is responsible for the business development strategy of Cisco’s Enterprise Networking business – a product portfolio spanning campus and branch environments. His focus is on evolving the network to deliver simplicity and automation, security and world class user experiences through the Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNA).

Previously, Reed led product strategy, product management, and go-to-market activities for Cisco’s Enterprise Infrastructure and Solutions Group (EISG). Prior to that, Reed had responsibility for the company’s SDN solutions and architectures for enterprise customers. Additionally he was General Manager for Cisco’s largest switching business unit, the Unified Access Group.

Prior to joining Cisco, Reed held a number of senior positions in large-scale enterprise software businesses, covering storage product development, alliances, and business development. He also served as president and cofounder of an e-commerce start-up venture.

Reed holds a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering (with distinction) and a master’s degree in business administration, both from Stanford University.

Tara Ridley

Tara Ridley
Director of Service Sales, Cisco, Australia and New Zealand

As the Director of Service Sales at Cisco in Australia and New Zealand, Tara is responsible for the overall strategic direction and leadership of the Cisco ANZ Services Sales team. She leads a dedicated team that drives Cisco Services with and through partners to help customers execute their strategy using advisory, implementation and managed services.

Tara has a twenty-year plus track record in the IT and Communications industry in the UK and Australia. A ten-year veteran of Cisco, Tara has cultivated her extensive sales and management experience through a number of leadership roles including Director of Enterprise Sales, regional sales management and channel partner management.

Prior to joining Cisco, Tara was at Macquarie Telecom for 2.5 years and 9 years with Hewlett-Packard in the United Kingdom in a variety of sales and leadership roles. Tara holds a BA (Hons) Marketing and Business and Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the University of Huddersfield in the United Kingdom.

Maeva Save

Distribution Marketing Manager, Cisco, Australia and New Zealand

In her current role, Maeva guides our Cisco distributors to evolve marketing into an engine that drives revenue and profitability. She commenced the role in November 2015, and has been at Cisco for over 4 years. Previously the Brand and Innovation Manager at Cisco UK, Maeva first joined Cisco in 2011, to integrate the London 2012 sponsorship team.

Maeva works closely with our distributors and the Cisco Distribution Partner Account Managers to pinpoint areas to invest or divest, to reach business goals. She is focused on using marketing to enable Cisco to stand out, reach more customers, and create deeper relationships.

Since joining the Sydney team in late 2015, Maeva has launched Cisco Marketplace, making Australia only the second developed country to go live with this online transaction platform, linking our customers and partners digitally.

She is the ANZ lead on this global program that now allows Cisco to innovate the sales model in Cisco’s volume business to a low touch, digitally driven engagement.

Deviating from the norm is normal for Maeva. She was part of the initial team who launched and nurtured the first Innovation program for Cisco worldwide. From the beginning of her career, she has made a point of taking on challenges. She has lived and worked in France, the UK, Spain and Australia; continually grasping new markets, languages and cultures.

Maeva holds Masters Degrees in International Business and Marketing, and her professional background includes Consumer Marketing - with FMCG leader, Unilever.

Ashtanga yoga and meditation are her daily practices. For 13 years she competed nationally as a rhythmic gymnast. Maeva is also committed to female empowerment, raising money for charity and mentoring young professional females.

Myron Stein

Public Sector Operations Director, Cisco, Australia and New Zealand

Myron Stein is the Director of Public Sector Sales and Operations for Cisco Australia. Stein's responsibility is to lead the strategic planning and sales operations for all Government, Health and Education organisations and to ensure that Cisco is best meeting their future requirements in the face of critical industry inflection points such as cloud, video and collaboration enablement. He is also driven to helping leverage Cisco communication technologies to transform their business for optimised productivity, increased innovation and sustainable growth.

A 20-year veteran of Cisco, Stein is well known for his vast experience and deep contacts in the market, proven business acumen in addressing complex market initiatives and in-depth knowledge of the converged communications world. His strategic and consultative-approach to customer engagements have earned him high achievement recognition across Cisco Australia and regionally.

Prior to joining Cisco, Stein spent 8 years serving in several sales and engineering positions at IBM Australia.

Dave West

Dave West
Vice President Architectures and Chief Technology Officer, Cisco, Asia Pacific Japan

Dave West leads the Architectures Business in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), which includes all the sales, solutions and engineering teams that are part of Cisco’s business units – Software and Network Transformation, Data Centre, Collaboration and Security.

With over 25 years of experience in the ICT industry, 16 years of which at Cisco, Dave West is as one of the greatest advocates of Cisco’s technologies in the APJ region. Dave nurtures close relationships with customers and partners, which yields him a strong vision and understanding of the market transitions that need to be delivered in Cisco’s architecture and solution offerings.

Before relocating to Asia, Dave West was the CTO for Cisco’s Worldwide Partner Organisation, where he was responsible for working with partners to enable technical excellence in the partner technical community.

During his time at Cisco, Dave has held other key leadership roles, including: Sr. Director, Public Sector Systems Engineering and Architectures leading the systems engineers and managers supporting Federal, State and Local Government, Education; Director, Centre of Excellence for Public Sector Solutions; Senior Manager, Systems Engineering, Department of Defence and Intelligence; Senior Manager, Advanced Technologies, responsible for voice, security, optical, and wireless engineering and pre-sales support for federal customers and partners.

Dave is a former Marine Officer, graduated from the Virginia Military Institute. He holds an MS in Information Systems from the Naval Postgraduate School.

Country Manager, Cisco, New Zealand

Dave Wilson is the Director of Sales and Country Manager for Cisco New Zealand. He is responsible for all Cisco business including Service Provider, Enterprise and Commercial in New Zealand.

Wilson has 20 years' experience working in the ICT industry within New Zealand and overseas holding sales and senior management roles from vendor to distributor, reseller and end customers. Dave has a proven track-record of building go-to-market strategies, partnerships and high performance teams to ensure customers achieve their business goals.

Since joining Cisco New Zealand in 2009, Wilson has led Cisco's Global Service Provider group in New Zealand, and was the Client Executive and Regional Manager for Cisco's Collaboration business. Dave's endeavours have been focused on the Unified Communications and Collaboration market, assisting customers and partners improve their businesses through the wider adoption and increased utilisation of these technologies.
