Speaker 1

Gyorgy Acs

Consulting System Engineer

Gyorgy ACS works at Cisco as a Consulting Engineer in Central European Global Security Sales Organization based out of Budapest, Hungary.
After graduating in Electric Engineering from Technical University of Budapest, Gyorgy worked at the university as a PhD student and developed DSP based voice coding applications. He completed the postgraduate study there.
He has started his professional career in IT and telecommunications in 1996 and before joining Cisco Systems in 1999 he worked at Ericsson as a Solution Engineer for VoIP, IP and transmission products developing IP and transmission solutions for bigger Hungarian enterprises.
He joined Cisco Systems as a Systems Engineer responsible mainly for VoIP and telephony technologies. He has started the security focus in 2001 and he has become a Consulting Systems Engineer in 2005. Since 2008 he have been working as a regional Consulting SE supporting different regions, like Central European and later Emerging East, currently South Eastern European and Hungarian markets.
The security focused technical community frequently invites him presenting on industry conferences, representing Cisco.
Gyorgy is a Certified Ethical Hacker and Sourcefire Certified Expert and Professional.

Manfred Brabec

Consulting Systems Engineer

Manfred Brabec, CCIE No. 13180, CCDE No. 20130028 and CISSP No. 481734, is a Consulting Systems Engineer Security at Cisco Systems, Inc., and part of GSSO EMEAR Central.
With over 20 years of networking and security experience, prior to joining Cisco, he was leading technical teams with Cisco partners and as a consultant he was designing networking and security solutions for different verticals including public sector, retail, military, aviation, energy, finance and manufacturing.
His other certifications include CISM, CCDP, CCNP, CCNP Security, CCNP Voice, CCNP Wireless, CCNP Service Provider, SFCE and many other industry certifications.

Stefan Dürnberger

Consullting Systems Engineer

Stefan Dürnberger works as a Consulting Systems Engineer for Cisco´s Global Security Sales Organization.
His area of focus is on Network Security, especially on ASA Firewalling and VPNs, Content Security and IOS Security. Stefan currently holds an active CCIE Security Certification. He joined Cisco in 2007 and is a frequent Speaker to Cisco Events like Cisco Live.

Piotrek Linke

Consulting Systems Engineer

Piotr is working for Cisco since December 2013 and joined together with Sourcefire after the acquisition of the company, where he worked for almost 5 years as a IT Security Specialist in the region of Central and Eastern Europe. He has extensive experience in network security solutions like Snort (since 2002.), Sourcefire (since 2005.) and other technologies like firewalls, proxy, anti-malware, etc. Previously, Piotr worked with other renowned suppliers of IT security products in EMEA region. Well versed in securing operating systems and applications can brilliantly cope with issues such as network intrusion detection, reducing risks, and analysis of incidents. In his spare time he enjoys forensic analysis, analysis of malware and writing exploits for the latest vulnerabilities.

Roland Müller

Consulting Systems Engineer

Roland is working for Cisco for 14+ Years as an System Engineer, since 2008 as an SE for Security; before that, Roland had different other SE roles within Cisco.
Before joining Cisco, Roland worked for different companies as a network engineer. He currently holds a CCIE-certification for Security as well as CCDE-certification.
Roland is based within the beautiful Cisco Office in Stuttgart/Germany and loves to play tabletop soccer anytime.

Dragan Novakovic

Consulting Systems Engineer

Dragan Novakovic started with Cisco in March, 2007 as a systems engineer in the local team in Serbia. As a SE he covered Cisco's networking and security products and solutions for customers in Serba and Montenegro. Since, July 2014, he has taken up a new role as Consulting Systems Engineer for Security in South and East Europe part of Cisco Central region.
Prior to joining Cisco, Dragan worked for 10 years in Academic Network of Serbia, he was the network administrator in charge of the national research and education network of Serbia.
He also was an Instructor in Regional Cisco Networking Academy and Teaching assistant at Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Belgrade, teaching networking courses.
Dragan holds an M.Sc.E.E. Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, CCDE #20130052 and CCIE Security #26951 certifications.

Senior Consultant

Thorsten Rosendahl is Senior Consultant and Security Advisor with Cisco, covering Central Europe, and focuses on the Introduction of Products for Next Generation Threat Defense a.k.a. CyberSecurity as well as APT protection.

Christian Schulmeister

Consulting Systems Engineer

Christian Schulmeister, originating from Sourcefire, works as a Consulting Systems Engineer in the Cisco Global Security Sales Organisation. He started 2008 at an IT security distributor, where he provided technical support, consulting and trainings for multiple IT security vendors. The technologies ranged from client security, like anti-virus and encryption, over content security solutions to network based security solution like the Sourcefire NGIPS.

Consultant Systems Engineer

Rene is a Consultant Systems Engineer for Security and is working for Cisco since 1999. He is a CCIE Security certified engineer with more than 20 years of networking and security experience. Rene is a passionate security engineer consulting and educating a wide range of large and mid-size customers to solve their complex security requirements.

Jiří Tesař

Systems Engineer

Jiří Tesař (born 9.9.1967) joined Cisco in 2007 as Systems Engineer for Service Providers. Focused on advanced networking and development of L2 and L3 services in access and backbone networks.
Developed projects relevant to MPLS, Carrier Ethernet and security technology. Participated in projects for video contribution, head-end and transport as well.
For more than 5 years now, he specializes on security. As Consulting Systems Engineer he works on security related projects, mainly related to content security, identity based security and threat detection and protection.
Before joining Cisco, Jiří spent 12 years working for large system integrator, being responsible mainly for Government, Military (with focus on security solutions), Enterprise and SP projects (one of them: T-Mobile MPLS/VPLS network with additional Internet peering, voice and other services). In addition, he participated in commercial wireless municipal projects. Other skills: programming, Unix based Oss.

Adrian Aron

Consultant Systems Engineer

Aron has graduated Politechnica University in Bucharest, with a speciality in Electrical Engineering in 2004.
He started his career at Ministry of Informational Technology in Bucharest for a 3 month internship, to move then to Huawei Tech. Romania, for 3 years, as optical engineer at the beggining and then as Project Manager for optical projects.
Joined Cisco in dec2006 as a Public Sector engineer, voice engineer, borderless engineer and finally since 3 years ago he started his focus on Cisco´s Security portfolio.
