As with any firmware release, read these release notes before you upgrade the firmware. Cisco also recommends that you back up the configuration before you perform any firmware upgrade.
Note These Release Notes describe the updates and fixes in version 7.5.6c of the Cisco SPA525G2 firmware.

The following matrix describes the hardware and firmware compatibility.
Note For EU SKU load firmware 7.5.6c/7.5.5c, the Wi-Fi power is changed to apply to meet EU EN300328 V1.8.1 standard. For all other hardware and firmware combinations, the Wi-Fi power is not changed.
Note Upon firmware and release note readiness for release 7.5.6c, EU SKUs have not been produced. So EU SKU SN info is NA and it will be updated in next version of the release notes.
7.5.6c feature set is identical to 7.5.6, except that in EU SKU load firmware 7.5.6c, the Wi-Fi power is changed to apply to meet the EU EN300328 V1.8.1 standard.
Note Another firmware version, 7.5.5c, exists for the SPA525G2-EU phone. The feature set is identical to 7.5.5b, except that in EU SKU load firmware 7.5.5c, the Wi-Fi power is changed to apply to meet the EU EN300328 V1.8.1 standard.
Anything that degrades network performance can affect voice and video quality, and in some cases, can cause a call to drop. Sources of network degradation can include, but are not limited to, the following activities:
To reduce or eliminate any adverse effects to the devices, schedule administrative network tasks during a time when the devices are not being used or exclude the devices from testing.
