This document describes the system requirements, new features, installable dar details, caveats, and workarounds for Cisco UCS Manager plug-in, Release 1.x for VMware vRealize Orchestrator. This document also i includes current information that became available after the technical documentation was published. Use these release notes as a supplement with the other documents listed in the Cisco UCS Manager Documentation Roadmap.

vRealize Orchestrator is a development and process-automation platform that provides a library of extensible workflows. These workflows allow you to create and run automated, configurable processes to manage the VMware vSphere infrastructure. The vRealize Orchestrator uses its open plug-in architecture to allow you to integrate with other management and administration solutions.
The Cisco UCS Manager plug-in for vRealize Orchestrator leverages the open plug-in architecture of the vRealize Orchestrator to integrate the Orchestrator with UCS Manager. After integration, the plug-in enables you to create actions and workflows for managing both UCS and vSphere infrastructure in the datacenter.
Software Requirements
Note Registering a UCS domain from the web configuration tool is not supported on vRealize Orchestrator 6.0.1 version and higher. However, you can register the UCS domain through workflows.

From UCS Manager plug-in Release 1.0.4 and higher are supported on the following VMware vRealize Orchestrator releases:

Installation Notes
Cisco UCS Manager plug-in for VMware vRealize Orchestrator enables you to register and manage Cisco UCS domains. When you install Cisco UCS Manager plug-in, register UCS domains individually using UCS Manager user account.
The Cisco UCS Manager plug-in release 1.0.1 for vRealize Orchestrator supports the following features:
Configuration interface to register and manage UCS domains in the vRealize Orchestrator.
Around 1800 vRealize Orchestrator actions to get, set, add, and remove UCS managed objects of all features available in the UCS Manager Release 2.2(3a).
Equipment and server-related managed objects in the UCS domain are enabled as inventory objects.
Canned workflows.
vRealize Orchestrator actions for the following operations:
When running workflow in a debug mode, some workflow may not run in vRealize Orchestrator 6.0.x. This is because the vRealize Orchestrator 6.0.x drops the reference objects of the output in the debug mode.
