Introduction
Cisco Configuration Professional for Catalyst (Cisco CPC) is a graphical user interface that offers simplified device configuration, monitoring, and management through a Web user interface.
Cisco CPC is currently supported on the following series of switches:
Cisco Catalyst 2960-L
Cisco Catalyst Digital Building
Cisco Catalyst 2960-C
Cisco Catalyst 2960 Plus
Cisco Catalyst 2960-X
Cisco Catalyst 2960-XR
Cisco Catalyst 2960-CX
Cisco Catalyst 3560-CX
New models supported by Cisco CPC 1.6.0
No new hardware platforms or chassis models are included for support in this release.
New Features in Cisco CPC 1.6.0
Cisco Configuration Professional for Catalyst provides the following features in this release:
Improvements to Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) configuration on ports and device using priority settings.
Along with IPv4, you can now configure through IPv6 address; with support for IPv6 static routing.
Support for VTP pruning to eliminate or prune unnecessary traffic.
Enhancements to STP with added fields for Forward Time, Hello Time, Max Age, Transmit Hold-Count, STP Port Types, Edge-BPDU Filter, Edge-BPDU Guard and STP Loopguard.
Enhancements to Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) for improved management and monitoring of network devices.
Cluster option has been disabled to prevent network vulnerabilities.

Caveats
The following caveats describe unexpected behavior in Cisco Configuration Professional for Catalyst. Severity 1 caveats are the most serious caveats, severity 2 caveats are less serious, and severity 3 caveats are the least serious of these three severity levels.
Cisco Bug Search Tool
The Bug Search Tool (BST), which is the online successor to Bug Toolkit, is designed to improve the effectiveness in network risk management and device troubleshooting. The BST allows partners and customers to search for software bugs based on product, release, and keyword, and aggregates key data such as bug details, product, and version. The tool has a provision to filter bugs based on credentials to provide external and internal bug views for the search input.
