– Easier navigation and device management
– Full-page view that provides central location for device details and configuration
– New Chassis View Explorer helps user find and navigate to device elements
– Data and features that are displayed in full-page view are context-sensitive (Cisco EPN Manager only displays the information relevant to the selection)
– Support for virtual racks; support for ports located on chassis itself
– Support for card-level rotation
– New action: Run show commands
– New tabs: Civic Location, Recent Changes
– New free text filter added to help locate interfaces
– Endpoints attributes added: Tx Power and Rx Power
– Span loss chart now includes Device ID in title
- Ability to launch OAM commands based on the service type from the Circuit 360 and troubleshoot the circuit failure using ping and traceroute.
- "Recommended Action" functionality in the Alarm Browser and ability to edit the recommended actions of particular alarm condition from Administration > Settings > System Settings > Alarms and Events > Alarm Severity and Auto Clear.
- Documentation listing supported SNMP traps and supported syslogs was enhanced to include correlation information (which events support correlation and the correlation relationships).
- Support for discovering and promoting QoS policy maps from devices.
- Ability to configure Red Actions using the unit 'us' while creating QoS Action Profiles.
- Ability to configure the Committed Information Rate (CIR) in MBPS format while associating Shaping actions to QoS Action Profiles.
- "Clear Counter" field to reset the test results.
- "Inject Error" field to inject errors in the frame while performing the test.
- Illustrations in the BERT page to explain the test route.
- "History" tab to view the historical records of BERT performance results for a specific CEM circuit.
- BERTs page under Monitor > Performance Tests to view the last run/currently running test on a CEM circuit.
- Get more details about service provisioning failures. For services with “Create Failed” provisioning state, click on the “i” icon in the Provisioning State column to see the configuration of the devices involved in the failure, as well as details about the specific error(s) that occurred.
- Circuit 360 view enhancements:
– CEM attribute added: Pseudowire bandwidth
– OCH-Trail UNI attributes added: tunnel ID, head actual wavelength, tail actual wavelength
– New actions: FLEX LSP trace route and ping
- Ability to remove multiple devices that are in a cluster from the geo map.
- The geo map now supports visualization of circuits/VCs (overlay).
- Bandwidth utilization is now supported in the geo map.
Carrier Ethernet Provisioning and Management
- Names of OCH circuit types are appended with WSON to clearly demarcate the provisioning support for WSON circuits.
- Ability to set the DWDM grid unit to either, wavelength or frequency for the OCH circuit types.
CEM Provisioning and Management
- Service reconciliation support extended for CEM services.
- CEM service overlay now displays the underlying MPLS TE tunnel through which the traffic is routed in a CEM service.
L3VPN Service Provisioning and Management
- Ability to associate QoS profiles to L3VPN services during service and VRF modification.
- Dual-AS routing support for the associated BGP neighbor on Cisco IOS-XR devices.
MPLS Traffic Engineering Service Provisioning and Management
- Performance data such as traffic, availability, bandwidth utilization, and actual bandwidth utilization are displayed in graphical format in the Circuit/VC 360 view for MPLS bidirectional TE tunnels.
- Support to define explicit path for MPLS bidirectional TE tunnels.
- Prevention of accidental activation of older software versions on devices.
- Ability to activate images that are in Standby mode on devices.
- The addendum to the User and Administrator guide describing wireless and data center features is available in the online help and in the version published on Cisco.com.
- Partial service, i.e., service with unmanaged endpoint, supported for CE and CEM services.
- Pre/post configuration template execution in provisioning.
- Set Termination Point support for configuring termination point for SONENT/ETHERNET interfaces on ASR90x, ASR920 devices.
- Multi-layer topology retrieval for CEM and Flex LSP services.
- Support for IPSLA, QoS policy configuration during L3VPN service provisioning.
Beta Device/OS Support Added in Cisco EPN Manager 2.0.2
This section lists the new support provided in Cisco EPN Manager 2.0.2. For a list of all support information, click the gear icon at the top right of the web GUI and choose Help > Supported Devices .
Note The following devices and operating systems are supported in Cisco EPN Manager 2.0.2 with limited (beta-level) functionality.

Important Notes
Required User Role Settings
NBI permissions must be set for Super User, Config Manager, Admin, and System Monitoring users to ensure optimal functioning when performing the following actions:
To set NBI permissions for users, go to Administration > Users > Users, Roles & AAA > Users and do the following for each user:
1. Click on the user name link.
2. In the User Details page, under Groups Assigned to this User, select the NBI Read and NBI Write check boxes.
Reconciliation Report Limitations
When provisioning a service, if you have not provided a value for any of the attributes, the provisioned value for those attributes will be displayed as “Missing” in the reconciliation report. The device may have default values for these attributes but Cisco EPN Manager does not have any values configured.
Point Patch 1 (PP1) for Cisco EPN Manager 2.0.2
PP1 is available for installation on top of Cisco EPN Manager 2.0.2. PP1 addresses the following issues:
Instructions for installing the point patch are provided in a Readme file that is on the Software Download page on Cisco.com with the point patch. To download the Readme file:
Step 1 Go to the Software Download page on Cisco.com .
Step 2 Choose 2.0.2 from the navigation area on the left.
Step 3 Hover your mouse cursor over the patch file to open the software’s Details pop-up window.
Step 4 In the pop-up window, click Readme and save the file.
Cisco EPN Manager Bugs

Get Information About Cisco EPN Manager Bugs
Use the Bug Search tool (BST) to get the latest information about Cisco EPN Manager bugs. BST allows partners and customers to search for software bugs based on product, release, and keyword, and it aggregates key data such as bug details, product, and version.
Cisco EPN Manager bugs may be caused by defects in a device's platform or operating system. In those cases, the Cisco EPN Manager bug will be resolved when the hardware/operating system bug is resolved.
Step 1 Log into the Bug Search Tool.
a. Go to https://tools.cisco.com/bugsearch/ .
b. At the Log In screen, enter your registered Cisco.com username and password; then, click Log In .
Note If you do not have a Cisco.com username and password, you can register for them at http://tools.cisco.com/RPF/register/register.do.
Step 2 To list all bugs for this version, click the Select from list hyperlink that is next to the Product field and select the product.
a. Choose Cloud and Systems Management > Routing and Switching Management > Cisco Evolved Programmable Network (EPN) Manager and then select the required product version.
b. When the results are displayed, use the filter and sort tools to find bugs according to their status, severity, how recently they were modified, if any support cases are associated with them, and so forth.
You can also search using bug IDs or keywords. For more information, click Help at the top right of the Bug Search page.
