Setting-Up the PAP2

In order to register the PAP2 to your VoIP provider, complete these steps:

Step 1:
Connect the Ethernet port of the PAP2 to your network (router, switch or modem).

Step 2:
Connect an analog phone to the FXS port.

Step 3:
Pick up the handset and dial ****110#. Note the IP address.

Step 4:
Access the PAP2's web-based setup page. For instructions, click here.

Step 5:
Click Admin Login, and (switch to advanced view).

Step 6:
Click Line 1 and go to Proxy and Registration and Subscriber Information. Enter the Proxy, User ID, and Password. Some ITSPs require the use of Outbound Proxy. As a result, make sure that you enter them correctly, and set Use Outbound Proxy to yes.

Step 7:

Click .

Step 8:
Click Info, and check if Registration State is Online. You can now pick up the handset, hear a dial tone, and start making calls.
