Q. I changed the IP address of my receiving mail server. How can I set ProtectLink Gateway Email Protection to continue forwarding emails to my domain?

If you want ProtectLink Gateway Email Protection reconfigured to forward mail to a new IP address, file a case with Linksys and provide the following information:

  • Account name and account level
  • Domain name
  • Email address under the domain name (for test email)
  • New IP address
  • Requestor's name
  • Requestor's email address

INTERNAL INFORMATION:

To Linksys support engineers: If the customer wants ProtectLink Gateway Email Protection reconfigured to forward mail to a new IP address, escalate to Trend Micro via imhs_support@trendmicro.com and provide the following information:

  • Account name and account level
  • Domain name
  • Email address under the domain name (for test email)
  • New IP address
  • Requestor's name
  • Requestor's email address
  • Copy of the customer's email request
