Problem Description

Some of the defects that were fixed in Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX) 11.6(2) ES01 through ES06 might surface if ES07 is installed on any system that has earlier Engineering Specials (ESs) installed.

Background

UCCX and Customer Collaboration Platform (CCP) ES07 for Release 11.6.2 was posted on cisco.com on April 6, 2021. UCCX and CCP ESs always include prior fixes included in the earlier ESs (cumulative). However, ES07 was posted as noncumulative, with fixes related to ES07 only.

UCCX Release 11.6.2 ES07 is not a cumulative release, so the defects fixed in ES01 through ES06 are not available in UCCX Release 11.6(2) ES07 after install.

Problem Symptom

Issues resolved from UCCX Release 11.6(2) ES01 through ES06 will occur when UCCX Release 11.6(2) ES07 is applied.

Workaround/Solution

Customers who installed Release 11.6(2) ES07 do not receive all the fixes in earlier ESs. System behavior is unknown when ES07 is installed on top of an earlier ES, as the code change between both ESs is missing.

Upgrade UCCX and Cisco SocialMiner/CCP to Release 11.6(2) ES08 or later.
