Performing a roll back to Release 21SP1 will result in loss of push notification registrations when AP.as.21.sp1.551.ap348531 had been applied to Release 21SP1. After the rollback, when the stale registration audit executes upon startup, all pertinent push notification registration information is removed.
Note: This field notice was originally posted in the BroadSoft Xchange portal and has been moved over to Cisco.com as-is for historical purposes.
All push notification registrations are lost, which might result in BroadWorks iPhone and Android clients being unable to receive phone calls. The clients can reregister to restore functionality.
BroadWorks patches can now be downloaded through the Cisco Software Download Center after logging in with your Cisco.com (CCO) account.
The version of BroadWorks that is currently deployed as well as the patches currently activated can be checked by executing the get versions all
command from the CLI. More information on how to check the patch level can be found in the Cisco BroadWorks Maintenance Guide.
Workaround
Contact the Cisco BroadSoft Technical Assistance Center (TAC) for manual intervention PRIOR to executing any rollback to Release 21SP1.
Patch
Patch AP.as.21.sp1.551.ap374794 is now available on Xchange. This patch should be applied on top of AP.as.21.sp1.551.ap348531.
