Workaround/Solution

Units with serial numbers less than FHK0647xxxx must be returned for a replacement. For example, if the unit serial number starts with FHK0646, FHK0645, etc. then it needs to be replaced. The 6th and 7th digits indicate the date code. The cutoff date code value for units that do not have this issue is 47. Unit replacement can be processed through the upgrade program. (The request form is attached to this notice.) Cisco TAC can also process the upgrade request.
