A vulnerability in the Quality of Voice Reporting (QOVR) service of Cisco Prime Collaboration Assurance (PCA) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to access the system as a valid user.
The vulnerability is due to insufficient authentication controls. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by connecting to the QOVR service with a valid username. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to perform actions with the privileges of the user that is used for access.
Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability.

This vulnerability affects Cisco PCA Software Releases prior to 12.1 SP2.
Determining the Prime Collaboration Assurance Software Release
To determine the installed release of Cisco PCA Software, administrators can use the GUI as follows:
- After logging in to PCA, click the gear icon in the upper right corner of the UI.
- Choose About.
- Click the System Information link.
Products Confirmed Not Vulnerable
Only products listed in the Vulnerable Products section of this advisory are known to be affected by this vulnerability.

There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability.

Cisco has released free software updates that address the vulnerability described in this advisory. Customers may only install and expect support for software versions and feature sets for which they have purchased a license. By installing, downloading, accessing, or otherwise using such software upgrades, customers agree to follow the terms of the Cisco software license:

Customers Without Service Contracts
Customers who purchase directly from Cisco but do not hold a Cisco service contract and customers who make purchases through third-party vendors but are unsuccessful in obtaining fixed software through their point of sale should obtain upgrades by contacting the Cisco TAC:

- Click Browse all.
- Choose Cloud and Systems Management > Collaboration and Unified Communications Management > Prime Collaboration > Prime Collaboration Assurance 12.1.
- Access releases by using the left pane of the Prime Collaboration Software Images page.
