Export the Media/Content

From a client workstation, complete these steps to export media/content from a CDM in ACNS 4.x.x:

  1. Launch Windows Explorer.

  2. In the address window, type \\CDM_IP_address\vod_fs\

  3. Log in with the Admin account.

A list of folders named after the various channels configured on the CDM appears.

  4. Open the folder.

    The media/content is visible.

  5. Drag and drop the media/contents onto your desktop.

Note: In order to use Samba in ACNS 4.2, you need to restart the "symbolic link building" process. You can restart this process from the CDM global-configuration page whose URL is http://cdmipaddr/cgi-bin/restricted/global-config.
