The 2.3(1.13) firmware image within the installation program supports the following Cisco Headsets:

This firmware version is supported on Cisco Unified Communications Manager 10.5(2) and later, with the 700 USB Adapter available on 11.5(1)SU9 and later or 12.5(1)SU3 and later. Recommended Cisco IP Phone 7800/8800 series firmware version is 12.5(3)+

Cisco Headset 520 530 560 730 series Installation Instructions

Perform the following procedure:

1. Download the files that are listed in Table 1 to your hard drive.

2. Using your web browser, log in to the Cisco Unified OS Administration web page.

3. Under the Software Upgrades menu, select Install/Upgrade.

4. Fill in the appropriate values in the Software Location section for the downloaded files as listed in Table 1 and click Next.

5. In the Options/Upgrades drop-down box, select a file you downloaded and click Next.

6. Enusre that the downloaded file has the same MD5 hash value as listed in Table 1.

7. Click Next.

8. Check the installation log and verify the file installed successfully.

9. To install another file, click Install Another and repeat steps 2 to 8.

10. Log in to Cisco Unified Serviceability web page.

11. Under the Tools menu, select Control Center - Feature Services.

12. Select the Cisco Tftp service, and click the Restart button.

13. Log in to Cisco Unified CM Admin web page.

14. Under the Devcie menu, select Headset - Headset Template or Headset and Accessories - Headset and Accessories Template.

15. Open all applicable headset templates, click Apply Config button.

Cisco Headset 520 530 560 730 series Alternate Firmware Format

The Cisco Headset 520 530 560 730 and 700 USB Adapter firmware version 2.3(1.13) is also supplied in a zip file as an alternative, in case a Cisco Unified Communications Manager is not available to load the installer program. The name of this file is: cmterm-headset.2-3-0001-13.zip.

After unzipping the firmware files, they should be manually copied to the appropriate directory on the TFTP server.
