README for installing hot patch to fix CSCws61409

This hot patch is to address CSCws61409 issue (Live logs do not display on Cisco ISE GUI due to fast expansion of MnT database).

Download these files from the Cisco ISE software download site:

ise-apply-CSCws61409_3.1.x_patchall-SPA.tar.gz
ise-rollback-CSCws61409_3.1.x_patchall-SPA.tar.gz
 
 - Ensure that the hash of the downloaded files matches the ones listed on the Cisco ISE software download site.
 - Copy the downloaded files to a repository that is reachable from Cisco ISE.
 - Configure the repository in Cisco ISE to start the installation process.

Cisco ISE release 3.3 patch 8, Cisco ISE release 3.4 patch 1, Cisco ISE release 3.4 patch 2, Cisco ISE release 3.4 patch 3, Cisco ISE release 3.4 patch 4, and Cisco ISE release 3.5.

Few important notes
===================

After applying the fix described below, reports will appear empty (version specific). Only new data generated after the fix is installed will be displayed.

Cisco ISE release 3.5 and Cisco ISE release 3.4 patch 4:
   Affected reports: Change Configuration Audit, Posture-related reports, and SXP Binding reports

Cisco ISE release 3.3 patch 8:
   Affected reports: Change Configuration Audit and Posture-related reports

Cisco ISE release 3.4 patch 1 to Cisco ISE release 3.4 patch 3:
   Affected reports: SXP Binding reports

You can install this hot patch on these versions:
 - Cisco ISE release 3.3 patch 8
 - Cisco ISE release 3.4 patch 1 to Cisco ISE release 3.4 patch 4
 - Cisco ISE release 3.5 
 
You must install this hot patch only on MnT nodes in your deployment.

Install the hot patch
=====================

1. Log in to Cisco ISE CLI.
2. Run this command to install the hot patch:
   application install ise-apply-CSCws61409_3.1.x_patchall-SPA.tar.gz <Repository_Name>

Verify whether the patch is installed successfully
===================================================

1. Log in to Cisco ISE CLI.
2. Run this command:
   show version history

"ise-apply-CSCws61409_3.1.x_patchall-SPA.tar.gz" should be listed as an installed file in the command output.

Rollback to previous version
============================

If you want to remove the hot patch:

1. Log in to Cisco ISE CLI.
2. Run this command to rollback the hot patch:
   application install ise-rollback-CSCws61409_3.1.x_patchall-SPA.tar.gz <Repository_Name>
