About Cisco CVP (and CVP Engineering Specials)



This ES includes fixes for CSCve91275, CSCvf70700, CSCvf89491, CSCvf63236, CSCve15448, CSCve91275, CSCvg60100, CSCve85840

This ES fixes critical issues faced by customers on Cisco Unified Customer Voice Portal 11.5.
Installing this ES on older ES's will not have any negative impact.

CVP Engineering Special Installation Planning


Installing CVP11.5 (1) ES16


Follow the below steps in sequence to install this ES:

Note:

1)      ES-12 is mandatory before installing this ES

2)      Before installing the patch, the audio files must be backed up from C:\Cisco\CVP\VXMLServer\Tomcat\webapps\CVP\audio folder

a.       Ensure the VXML server service is up and running after the patch is installed.

b.      Ensure the audio folder is created under ‘C:\Cisco\CVP\VXMLServer\Tomcat\webapps\CVP.

c.        Restore the backed up audio files.

3)      Please take backup of CVP/VXML/Server/Tomcat/bin/connector.property file, place it back to the same directory after installation of ES and restart the VXML server service.

(Workaround for defect - CSCvh05583 - ES installation removes context-service-sdk-downloads directory and current context jar files.)

 

 

Patching Unified CVP VXML and Call Server:

 

1. Perform Graceful Shutdown on CVP VXML and Call Server using OAMP.

2. Run the patch installer.

3. Reboot the machine

 

 

 

Uninstall Directions for CVP11.5(1) ES16


To uninstall this patch, go to Control Panel. Select "Add or Remove Programs". Find the installed patch in the list and select "Remove".

Note: Patches have to be removed in the reverse order in which they were installed. For example, if you had installed patches 3, then 5, then 10 for a product, you will need to uninstall patches 10, 5 and 3 in that order to remove all patches for that product.
