This document provides installation instructions for Unified CCE 12.5(1) ES18. It also contains a list of Unified CCE issues resolved by this engineering special. Review all installation information before installing the product. Failure to install this engineering special as described can result in inconsistent Unified CCE behavior.

This section lists the Unified CCE components on which you can and
cannot install this engineering special.
You can install
Unified CCE 12.5(1) ES18 on these Unified CCE components:
· Admin
Client, AW, Logger, Router
Do not install this engineering special on any component other
than:
· Admin
Client, AW, Logger, Router
Using the Unified
CCE Service Control, stop all the Unified CCE Services running on the system.
Launch the
installer provided for the ES18 and follow the instructions on the screen.
If the Unified
CCE Services are set to manual, using the Unified CCE Service Control, start
all the Unified CCE Services.
Note: Remove patches in the reverse order of their installation. For example, if you installed patches 3, then 5, then 10 for a product, you must uninstall patches 10, 5, and 3, in that order, to remove the patches from that product.

Headline: Unable to promote agents to supervisor - User object Not reachable
Symptom:
Unable to promote agents to supervisor's. When attempting to promote an agent
to a supervisor the system generates the following error: "The specified
agent's Active Directory user account is not valid for a supervisor. See your
domain administrator. [User object Not reachable"
Conditions: Complex forest that has multiple domains. The issue seems to
occur when ICM is unable to navigate the global catalog.
Workaround:

Headline: Websetup and CCEAdmin login delay ~30 mins
Symptom:
considerable amount of delay observed after login. It takes more than 30 mins
and eventually gets in to undesirable results such as failed/timed out, etc...
Conditions: Large AD environment with 20-30 externally trusted domains
Workaround: Downgraded to 11.6.1, no delays were observed OR Replaced
sadlib.pdb & sadlib.dll from 11.6.1 to 11.6.2 version files and the delay
was fixed but faced some other issues as follows. 1) Tried to login into web
setup using child domain credential it works. 2) Tried to login into web setup
using parent domain user credential it don't work. (Error validating the Active
directory environment. Unable to load current domain information.) 3) Domain
manger don't open (after reverting the changes it works)

Severity: 4
Headline: AgentExplorer crash with supervisor creation when User is created with different sam and upn name.

Pre-FCS .
Symptom: Agent explorer will crash and cannot promote this agent as a
supervisor.
Conditions: Occurs only if same user exist in multiple domains (3 or more)
with different upn and same name.
Workaround: Keep both upn and sam
as same name.
