This document provides installation instructions for ICM10.5(3) ES30. It also contains a list of ICM issues resolved by this engineering special. Please review all sections in this document pertaining to installation before installing the product. Failure to install this engineering special as described may result in inconsistent ICM behavior.

This section provides information to help you understand on which ICM servers ICM10.5(3) ES30 can and should be installed. "these versions/components/servers are supported, and these other ones aren't".

ES30 is compatible with and should be installed on these ICM components:
Do not install this
engineering special on any of the components other than following:
1.
Make
sure all the UCCE Services are stopped in the peripheral gateway (PG) virtual
machine.
2.
Make
sure all UCCE applications are closed in the peripheral gateway(PG) virtual
machine.
3.
Download
the patch ICM10.5(3) ES30 and copy locally the to the virtual machine.
4.
Install
the patch and follow the instruction in the installer.
5.
After
successful install of patch, it will ask for machine restart. Restart the
machine.
6.
Start
UCCE services from service control application.
1.
Make
sure all the UCCE Services are stopped in the peripheral gateway (PG) virtual
machine.
2.
Make
sure all UCCE applications are closed in the peripheral gateway (PG) virtual
machine.
3.
Go to
Control Panel. Select "Add or Remove Programs". Find the installed
patch in the list and select "Remove".
4.
After
successful uninstall of patch it will ask for machine restart. Restart the
machine.
5.
Start
UCCE services from service control application.
Note: Patches have to be removed in
the reverse order in which they were installed. For example, if you had
installed patches 3, then 5, then 10 for a product, you will need to uninstall
patches 10, 5 and 3 in that order to remove all patches for that product.

Agent login stuck for ~60 secs
Conditions: 1. Agent using CIPC 2. Agent is in WRAP UP followed by phone
goes Out of Service, Desktop closed, phone In service, again phone Out of Service
and In service
Workaround: Sign-in again after the first login failure
Further Problem Description: 1) Agent1 in WRAP UP 2) Kill CIPC of agent1 3)
Kill/Close the finesse browser for agent1 4) Wait for 2 min for finesse to
trigger the logout based on presence un-available 5) Start CIPC of agent1 6)
Kill the CIPC of agent1 again after 1 min (1 min post step 5) 7) Start CIPC of
agent1. 8) Attempt to sign in agent1 (this sign in attempt will be stuck in)
