Detailed list of Resolved Caveats in This Engineering Special

Defect Number: CSCva35830

Component: logger

Severity: 2

Headline: Error "Delete of SkillGroupMember failed" when reskilling agent

Symptom: Agent re-skill related configuration updates fail intermittently with config error popup "Delete of SkillGroupMember failed" Router, logger and AW are out of sync wrt the agent's skill group membership.

Conditions: Reskilling with multiple ADD and DELETE operations and Agent to skill group mapping in same commit to logger.

Workaround: 1) exit_router (or) 2) Add dummy skill group and then try to remove a skill group mapping. For e.g if you want to remove two agents, make sure you add two dummy skill groups and then try to remove.

Further Problem Description:

Defect Number: CSCvc28185

Component: dbconfig

Severity: 3

Headline: PCCE Validation fails due to FQDN being too long

Symptom: PCCE Deployment validation is showing alerts for the AW servers regarding the PG hostnames (PeripheralGatewayAddressesTask).

This is because the DB entry for the server name is now populated with FQDN+port number.

Conditions: PCCE 11.5(1)

This only occurs if the FQDN+Port number is longer than 32 characters total.

Workaround: Use shorter hostnames so the FQDN + Port number is a string of length shorter than 32 characters.

Further Problem Description:

Defect Number: CSCvd27955

Component: dbconfig

Severity: 6

Headline: PCCE doesn't support the domain name with leading digits

Symptom: PCCE validation fails if the domain name has leading digits.

Conditions: The domain name has leading digits.

Workaround: None.
