Translation
Route from Type 6 (network VRU) to Type 2 fails. |
Defect Number: CSCuu68737
Component: pg.vru
Severity: 2
Headline: Translation Route from Type 6 (network VRU) to Type 2 fails.
Symptom:
Translation Route from Type 6 (network VRU) to Type 2 fails. ## ICM Router
sends TR label to Type 6 VRU. ## Type 6 VRU then returns disconnect response.
23:31:34:092 pg2A-pim1 Trace: PG->VRU:CONNECT(576 bytes):DID=1158 SendSeqNo=8 LabelType=1 Label=00280873127
23:31:34:826 pg2A-pim1 Trace: VRU->PG:EVENT_REPORT(22 bytes):DID=1158 SendSeq#=9 EventCode=Disconnect(6)
CauseCode=NormalComplete(1)
VRU PIM is expecting Answer, Busy, event from VRU before receiving disconnect
message. However, disconnect message is a valid response to connect the
message. As a result VRU sends this disconnect message to Router, then Router
deletes the dialog and apparently TR fails when TR label arrives on Router form
Type 2 VRU. ## Translation Route label is kind of blind Xfer
and RTR/VRU should not arm for further event (like Answer, busy) from VRU.
Conditions: ## UCCE environment ## Two VRU PGs.
-- >One VRU PG connects to Type 6 (Network VRU) --> Another VRU PG
connects to Type 2 VRU. Translation Route from Type 6 to Type 2 fails.
Workaround: None
