Configuring E-Mailing of Logs

You can configure the RV110W to send logs by email.

To configure e-mailing of logs:

  1. Choose Administration > Logging > E-mail Settings.
  2. To enable the e-mailing of log events, check the Enable check box.
  3. In the Log E-mail Configuration section, configure the following settings:

    E-mail Server Address

    Enter the address of the SMTP server.

    E-mail Server Port

    Enter the SMTP server port.

    Return E-mail Address

    Enter the return email address the RV110W uses submit any email bounce notifications.

    Address (1)

    Enter an email address to send logs to.

    Send to E-mail
    Address (2) (Optional)

    Enter an email address to send logs to.

    Send to E-mail
    Address (3) (Optional)

    Enter an email address to send logs to.

    E-mail Encryption (SSL)

    To enable email encryption, check the Enable check box.

    Authentication with SMTP Server

    If the SMTP server requires authentication before accepting connections, choose the type of authentication from the drop-down menu: None, LOGIN, PLAIN, and CRAM-MD5.

    E-mail Authentication Username

    Enter the email authenticate username (example, username@domain.com).

    E-mail Authentication Password

    Enter the email authenticate password.

    E-mail Authentication Test

    Click Test to test email authentication.

  4. In the Send E-Mail Logs by Schedule section, configure the following settings:

    Day

    If you chose a weekly schedule for sending logs, choose the day of the week to send the logs on.

    Time

    If you chose a daily or weekly schedule for sending logs, choose the time of day to send the logs at.

  5. Click Save.
