    The Products Watcher portlet allows you to view the three most recently published documents related to products you have identified. When you log in to My Tech Support, the Products Watcher checks the document database for the latest documents related to the products listed in your Products Watcher.

    By default, the Products Watcher portlet shows up to three documents related to a set of products Cisco has chosen for you. You can add products to watch, and delete products that do not interest you.

    How do I add products?

    1. Click the Edit icon at the top right corner of the Products Watcher portlet. A screen displays with a list of all Cisco products on the left, and a list of the products you are currently watching on the right.
    2. From the list on the left, select the products that you want to watch (use Ctrl-click to select multiple products).
    3. Click the Add button. The products display in the right column.
    4. Click Save. The My Tech support homepage displays.

    The Products Watcher will show the products you added plus the latest three documents related to those products, if three related documents are in the database.

    How do I delete products?

    1. Click the Edit icon at the top right corner of the Products Watcher portlet. A screen displays with a list of all Cisco products on the left and a list of the products you are currently watching on the right.
    2. From the list on the right, select the products that you want to delete (use Ctrl-click to select multiple products).
    3. Click the Delete button. The products are removed from the right column.
    4. Click Save. The My Tech support homepage displays.

    The Products Watcher will not show the products you deleted or related documentation.

    Why is the Products Watcher portlet empty?

    If the Products Watcher portlet is empty, send email to mytechsupport-feedback@cisco.com.

    How do I delete the Products Watcher portlet?

    1. Click the Edit icon on the active page tab. The portlets and the layout for your page display.
    2. Click the X on the Products Watcher portlet.
    3. Click Save. The portlet is removed from your page.

    To add the portlet again:

    1. Click the Edit icon on the active page tab.
    2. Click the Add Portlet button. A list of portlets that you can add to your page displays.
