    The My Topics and Forums portlet allows you to view and participate in discussions on the Cisco Networking Professionals Connection site. When you log in to My Tech Support, the My Topics and Forums portlet checks the Cisco Networking Professionals Connection site for the latest discussions about the forums and topics you are watching. You can add topics and forums to watch, and delete ones that do not interest you.

    How do I add Topics and Forums?

    1. Click the Edit icon at the top right corner of the My Topics and Forums portlet. A screen with a list of Topics you can select or remove displays.
    2. Select the check box next to each topic you want to display.
    3. Click Save.
    4. If there active conversations occurring in the Networking Professionals Connection for the topics you have selected, the My Tech Support homepage displays and includes all links you selected under each topic.

    How do I delete Topics and Forums?

    1. Click the Edit icon at the top right corner of the My Topics and Forums portlet. A screen with a list of Topics can select or remove displays.
    2. Clear the check box next to each topic you want to remove.
    3. Click Save.
    4. If there active conversations occurring in the Networking Professionals Connection for the topics you have selected, the My Tech Support homepage displays and includes all links you selected under each topic.

    How do I select the number of links I want to appear under each Topic or Forum?

    1. Click the Edit icon at the top right corner of the My Topics and Forums portlet. A screen with a list of Topics you can select or remove displays.
    2. Choose the number of links you want to appear under each topic from the drop-down at the bottom of the page.
    3. Click Save.
    4. If there active conversations occurring in the Networking Professionals Connection for the topics you have selected, the My Tech Support homepage displays and includes all links you selected under each topic.

    Why is the My Topics and Forums portlet empty?

    If the My Topics and Forums portlet is empty, send email to mytechsupport-feedback@cisco.com.

    How do I delete the My Topics and Forums portlet?

    1. Click the Edit icon on the active page tab. The portlets and layout for your page display.
    2. Click the X on the My Topics and Forums portlet.
    3. Click Save. The portlet is removed from your page.

    To add the portlet again:

    1. Click the Edit icon on the active page tab.
    2. Click the Add Portlet button. A list of portlets that you can add to your page displays.
