Cisco TelePresence is an innovative solution that uses the latest in audio, video, and networking technology to provide a life-sized video conferencing experience. Cisco is deploying the solution internally to reduce the need for business travel and to decrease the time required by salespeople, technology experts, and customers to coordinate and travel to customer briefings.

Cisco IT is deploying 110 TelePresence systems across the company worldwide. A top initiative for Cisco CEO John Chambers, the deployment of Cisco TelePresence aligns with the 2007 corporate plan and involves four phases that corresponding to a calendar quarter.
