The purpose of the Cisco Corporate Citizenship Council is to represent and serve our customers, employees, investors and partners by continuously improving Cisco's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs and by providing a better understanding of the company's performance related to CSR. The Council will fulfill these responsibilities by assessing social, ethical, and environmental practices and policies and to drive change, where necessary, to enhance the performance of our core business operations. On an ongoing basis, the Council intends to monitor Cisco's CSR programs and enhance the transparency and disclosure of relevant information relating to Cisco's Corporate Social Responsibility, including disclosure regarding the status and progress of our CSR programs.
