Ranajoy Punja

Ranajoy Punja

Ranajoy Punja is Vice President, Business Development – Advanced Technologies for Cisco Systems, the worldwide leader of networking for the Internet, for the India & SAARC Region. He has been responsible for Cisco's India & SAARC region marketing operations since June 2003. Ranajoy has over thirteen years of extensive marketing and technical experience in the networking and telecommunications industry.


Ranajoy joined Cisco in 1996 at Cisco's Corporate Headquarters in San Jose and has worked in both the US and APAC markets during his career with Cisco with significant experience in both the service provider and enterprise markets.


Prior to his current role, Ranajoy was responsible for the development and implementation of Cisco's worldwide product marketing strategies, positioning, and programs, for the company's multi-billion dollar Cisco Catalyst 4500 Series product line. He has been a key contributor to Cisco's marketing strategy that has helped increase Cisco's overall Ethernet switching market leadership.


Ranajoy was instrumental in successfully developing and executing Cisco's Asia Pacific go-to-market strategy for the service provider Voice over IP and packet telephony market when based in the Singapore, Cisco's Asia Pacific headquarters, from 1999 to 2001.

He has also been responsible for driving advanced sales and marketing strategies on packet telephony and access products and solutions for service providers and enterprises in North and South America.

Prior to joining Cisco, Ranajoy spent five years at Tandem Computers, USA. Ranajoy has a BS and MS in Computer Engineering from the University of California and an MBA from San Jose State.

Manjula Talreja
Senior Director - Voice Technology Group, Cisco

Manjula Talreja

Manjula Talreja is a Senior Director in Cisco’s Voice Technology Group (VTG). She runs the Customer Business Transformation organization as a member of VTG’s leadership team. She leverages her 20 years industry background in business strategy consulting and operations of large scale IT applications - to help Cisco’s top customers with business transformation using the Unified Communications technology. Internally at Cisco, she also helps drive VTG’s growth strategy.


Most recently Manjula ran the World-wide High Tech industry Practice in the Internet Business Solutions Group. She helped guide top executives of leading High Tech companies globally in developing Internet based strategies & new IP based revenue streams.


Manjula joined Cisco in early 1993 and was an integral part of Cisco’s transformation to a strong e-business company. Her e-business experience includes strategy and implementations of Cisco.com, e-Learning, e-Marketing and Cisco’s Internet Middle-Ware (Search Engines, Content Management, Portals and Web Services).


Before Cisco, Manjula worked for 5 years in the IT Manufacturing organization at Hewlett Packard (HP). At HP she worked on Global Manufacturing Systems in the US, South East Asia and Europe.



After graduating, achieving her degrees in Economics and Information Systems, Manjula started her career at an Accounting firm, running accounting and HR IT applications.

Manoj Menon
Partner, Frost & Sullivan

Manoj Menon

Manoj Menon directly manages Frost & Sullivan’s business in Southeast Asia. In addition, he also jointly spearheads the company’s global ICT research and consulting business.


Manoj started at Frost & Sullivan in December 1996 as one of the pioneers when the company was just beginning its trajectory into Asia. He has, since then, successfully grown the company’s presence and business in Asia Pacific by manifold, to its present 14 offices regionwide. Manoj continues to drive Frost & Sullivan’s expansion in the region, yielding the
highest year-on-year growth to the group’s global business.


Throughout his tenure at Frost & Sullivan, Manoj has consulted on multiple strategic and syndicated projects for leading multinational companies, regulators and government bodies, providing growth workshops and client counsels, among others. He is today one of the region’s most sought-after speakers and thought leaders, wherein his expert opinions have been heard at seminars and industry conferences globally. Manoj is also frequently featured in leading media, namely CNN, Bloomberg, Channel News Asia, CNBC, BBC, Telecom Asia, Singapore Business Times and Straits Times, and Malaysian Business.


He earned his Bachelor of Engineering at Mumbai University, and MBA at the ICFAI Business School in India. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Roy Newbury
Manager, Unified Communications

Roy Newbury

Roy Newbury is the Manager for Cisco’s Unified Communications products and technologies for Cisco Systems, Asia Pacific. Roy leads a team of Consulting Engineers and Product Managers that support the development and adoption of new technology solutions for Cisco’s customers and business partners in the Asia Pacific region.


Mr. Newbury joined Cisco in 1997 in Australia, leading the Systems Engineering team. In 2000 he moved to Beijing, China and spent 5 years with Cisco China leading the development of Technical & Sales resources, managing product & technology requirements for the Chinese market. He moved to Singapore in 2005 to take on Asia Pacific responsibilities in the Product and Technologies group.


Roy has a broad background in Data & Telecommunications Industry spanning 25 years.He started his career with British Telecommunications in London working in their International Data Communications Centre, before taking on various support and management roles in the UK and Australia.

Sukhbir Singh Sethi
Consulting Architect - APAC Unified Communications

Sukhbir Singh Sethi

In his existing role as a Consulting Architect, Sukhbir provides pre-sales consultancy to Enterprise and Service Provider customers on Unified Communications and Contact Center technologies. He is also actively involved in other solution architectures like Voice, WAN Switching and Service Oriented Network Architecture. Sukhbir is extensively involved in CXO level engagements with large customers and helps them in resolving key IT challenges using business solutions comprising of various technology architectures. He is also an active participant in various industry forums as a guest speaker for various networking related topics.


He has over 19 years of research, academic and industry experience in the data and voice networking area. For the past 13 years Sukhbir has been working with major multinational organizations in the area of Networking and Telecommunications.


In his academic career, Sukhbir has worked with the University of New South Wales at Sydney as an Associate Lecturer for Computer Communications. He has also published research papers in international publications.


Sukhbir has a Master’s degree in Computer Communications from University of New South Wales, Australia and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Guru Nanak Dev University, India.

Mathew M Varghese

Mathew M Varghese

Mathew Varghese is the Product Manager for Cisco’s Contact Center Solutions in Asia Pacific. An industry veteran with more than 16 years experience in the IT industry, Mathew has been the key contributor in the stupendous growth of Unified Communications business for Cisco in India before he relocated to Singapore as the Product Manager for Cisco’s Contact Center Solutions.


He has been speaking at International events such as “Networkers”, World Wide Analyst Summit and so on, on the success factors, deployment best practices of Unified Communications. He has also been the guest speaker at various International Industry hosted events such as “Call Center Association of Philippines”, “Customer Contact World” and so on. He spends a great deal of his time travelling across the 13 countries in AsiaPacific that he is responsible for, listening to our customers, partners and educating them on the next generation technologies. He works very closely with the Analysts & Press community delivering the message of Cisco’s Unified Communications.


Prior to Cisco, Mathew was working for IBM in various capacities & different countries, specializing on IBM SNA & Voice Technologies.


Mathew holds many Cisco Career Certifications to his credit in the areas of Data Networking & Voice Networking.

Richard Dodsworth

Richard Dodsworth

Richard Dodsworth joined Cisco Systems in the UK in 1996 before transferring to Singapore in 2001. His 17 years of experience in the telecommunications industry has included time with UB Networks and as a civil servant in the Australian Government. As a Consulting Engineer, he provides design guidance and new product information for Cisco’s Advanced Technology Solutions, primarily IP Voice and Video.to Cisco’s sales and channels in the Asia Pacific region.


He is a CCIE, initially certifying in 1995, and the holder of a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Adelaide, Australia.

Nagi Kasinadhuni

Nagi Kasinadhuni

Nagi combines 20 years of experience in networking systems and software services with an extensive background in high-level strategic consulting and network architecture management. He has strong understanding of competitive issues, market trends for emerging technologies from both a business and a technical perspective. A member of the Solution Development Group at Datacraft Asia, Nagi is responsible for building the IP Convergence solution framework, overseeing regional solution roll-outs within Datacraft Asia and driving the IP Convergence business. Prior to his present appointment, Nagi held senior management positions at various companies including Satyam, Odyssey, Stonehenge Telecom, Compaq and Digital Equipment Corporation. Whilst at Compaq, Nagi was a pioneer member of the Global Services team that developed the company's Next Generation Networks strategy and solutions. He understands the model of building competencies, delivering projects and the business of rolling them out globally. Nagi regularly reviews, contributes and speaks on network, internet technologies, IP Convergence, software applications and service models.

Amit Garg

Amit Garg

Amit Garg is a Principal Consultant with Cisco Systems India Pvt. Ltd. He is looking after Cisco Advanced Services sales for India and SAARC region. He comes with a strong 12 years of experience in Network design consultancy in NGN, Fixed and Mobile core network. This has given him the opportunity to understand different customer requirement and allowed him to use his network design skills in offering Telecom Network solutions for different carriers. His last assignment was with Motorola-Dubai as Solution Architect for IMS/NGN based networks. He has previously worked with Marconi Middle East, Fujitsu India Limited and Siemens Public Communications Networks. Amit holds a degree in Bachelor of Technology from KNIT, Sultanpur with major in electronics.
