Churches of Goa have stood as witness to the intense religious history of the diverse people who have lived here. The Church of Our Lady of Rosary, The Rachol Seminary, Church of St. Francis of Assisi, The Se Cathedral and Basilica of Bom Jesus are some of the magnificent places to see in Goa. Besides this, Aguada Fort, which crowns the rocky flattened top of the headland, is the best-preserved Portuguese bastion in Goa and Chapora fort, the ancient fort surrounded with the beaches Morgim and Mandarem in the north, and Anjuna towards the south offers a spectacular view to the travellers.

The climate of Goa can be summed up in one word: Coastal; cool nights and warm days. During August, the monsoon is on and Goa is at its most beautiful – with greenery sprouting all around.  The average temperature varies between 25°C - 30°C (67.96F - 81.56F Approx).
