Another item, which is on the list of every traveller to Goa, is a pack of the famous cashew nuts. It is also a fascinating experience to go around and shop in the traditional markets of the Goan towns and villages. Two of the such  famous market areas are Mapusa and Anjuna. The Friday Market at Mapusa, where stalls sell everything from curios and old coins to dried fish and spices.

Major shopping Areas of Goa are Anujana, Mapusa, Baga Beach, Calangute Square that sell amazing stuff with good bargaining opportunities. So, all shopaholics…shop and bargain to your heart’s content.

There are a number of sightseeing options in Goa, be it the beaches, the churches or the temples of Goa, all attract tourists to this golden holiday destination.

The climate of Goa can be summed up in one word: Coastal; cool nights and warm days. During August, the monsoon is on and Goa is at its most beautiful – with greenery sprouting all around.  The average temperature varies between 25°C - 30°C (67.96F - 81.56F Approx).
