More Memory for an Old Server
As a part of Cisco's compliance to the Reduction of Hazardous Substances Directive many of the memory DIMMs for the older Media Convergence Servers are no longer sold by Cisco. However additional memory can be obtained directly from HP or IBM for these platforms. The following table lists the Media Convergence Server platform and the equivalent HP or IBM platform.
Bigger Hard Disks to Upgrade to Unified CallManager 5.0
The minimum hard disk size to upgrade to Unified CallManager 5.0 is 72GB. As a part of Cisco's compliance to the Reduction of Hazardous Substances Directive Cisco does not offer larger hard drives for some of the Unified CallManager 5.0 supported servers. However larger hard drives may be obtained directly from HP or IBM for these platforms. The following table lists the Media Convergence Server platform and the equivalent HP or IBM platform and what hard disk to order.
