Rola Dagher, President, Cisco Canada

Rola Dagher is President of Cisco Canada, focused on bringing innovative digital solutions to enterprise, commercial, and public-sector industries, delivered through our world-class partner eco-system. Cisco Canada is one of the top 5 markets for Cisco worldwide, and home to Cisco’s 3rd largest R&D center - developing some of the company’s most advanced and innovative technologies. With over 1,700 employees across Canada, Dagher oversees all aspects of the Canadian business from operations, sales, marketing, finance and services.

Dagher joined Cisco from Dell EMC Canada where she held a variety of leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Vice President and General Manager in their Data Center business. There she led a team of Sales Engineers in the Server, Storage, Networking and Solutions business units that delivered transformative solutions for customers. Previously, Dagher spent 15 years in various sales leadership functions at Bell Canada focused on commercial and public-sector verticals.

Dagher is a recognized industry leader with 25-years of experience. She is driven by the belief that in the age of digitization, diversity of thought brings together unique experiences, knowledge, and ideas that accelerate human progress, innovation, and inspire word class teams.

Dagher has a deep commitment and passion for developing leaders and creating more diversity in business. She supports female leadership across the industry, including her position as Americas Executive Sponsor and Americas Board President of Cisco's Connected Women's Network. Dagher also serves on Board of Directors for the Cedar Cancer Centre, a non-profit research hospital part of the McGill University Hospital. She is also an active member of the Business Council for Canada.

Dagher lives in Toronto, Canada with her two children.

Jean-Claude Ouellet, Vice President of Sales

Jean-Claude Ouellet is Vice President of Sales and Operations for Eastern Canada.

Mr. Ouellet is responsible for sales for the large corporate sector, the commercial sector including the SME, and the public sector. With over 150 employees under his leadership, the Eastern Region is becoming one of the most successful in terms of adopting advanced technologies.

Mr. Ouellet joined Cisco in 1999 as Account Manager for the public sector before being promoted to Vice President of Sales for Quebec. Prior to joining Cisco, Mr. Ouellet worked for Bell for 10 years where he held several positions in the field of sales and services.

Mr. Ouellet is very involved with organizations for sick children. Among others, he is an active member of the Board of Directors of Muscular Dystrophy Canada in Quebec and a member of the Board of Directors of the Fondation du CHU de Québec

Sébastien Sasseville, An athlete, author and keynote Speaker

An athlete, author and keynote Speaker, Sébastien Sasseville has occupied diverse roles in Fortune 500 companies for the first 10 years of his career. As a speaker, his strength lies in his ability to build strong links between sports and the corporate world. Transformed by his accomplishments and already a veteran speaker, he has delivered hundreds of presentations on 4 continents, including a TEDx talk. Sébastien speaks to leaders and organizations on change, leadership and teamwork.

Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2002, the most serious form of diabetes, Sebastien shows by example that adversity can be turned into opportunity: Sébastien Sasseville reached the summit of Mount Everest, completed multiple Ironman triathlons and he also completed the legendary Sahara race. In 2014, he took up the challenge of his life: running across Canada, a 7500-kilometer journey, equivalent to running 180 marathons in nine months.

Always thought provoking, highly engaging and inspirational, Sebastien Sasseville is a sought after international speaker. His unique journey allows him to convey powerful and thoughtful messages. He delivers concrete and actionable content, he helps leaders to embrace change, to lead change, and to build efficient teams who deliver results.

Danny Blais

Danny, with over 18 years of experience is recognized by his colleagues as a versatile person and quickly adapting to different situations. Danny specializes primarily in SDWAN solutions, WAN acceleration equipment and unified communications. The attention to detail in his work is important to the successes of the projects to which he is assigned. The passion of the work and the success granted to its customers is very important thing. He is very social and jovial, facilitating teamwork and creating relationships with these clients.

Martin Bolduc

Martin has been part of the Cisco Montreal team for over 13 years. During all these years, he had the opportunity to work in all the different spheres of activity, including the support of our partners, small and large companies and especially those with a global presence. Over the last few years, Martin has been a solution architecture consultant in which he helps clients implement a strategy to evolve their IT environment while meeting the business needs of the business.

Francis Girard

Francis is a specialist in Enterprise Network Solutions Architecture. Francis is a graduate of École Polytechnique de Montréal and holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. He has been working in the information technology industry for almost 30 years and joined Cisco in 1998. Francis is based in Montreal and supports Cisco's business development efforts in enterprise wireless networks for the east. from Canada for 10 years. More recently, Francis has extended his area of ​​expertise to wireline access networks in addition to wireless, automation and network assurance. The portfolio of solutions it supports include Cisco's Digital Network Architecture (DNA), the Catalyst 9000 family of switches, Wi-Fi solutions, and more.

Luis Cruz

Luis has been working in the Systems Engineering team at Cisco Montreal for over 10 years. Prior to joining Cisco he held positions at Bell Canada and Hydro-Québec. Luis enjoys working closely with his clients to establish a relationship of trust and fully understand the evolving needs of their IT environments. Having chosen to remain a generalist, Luis advises his clients in a wide variety of areas including, but not limited to, collaboration, security, corporate networks and data centers. In the last years, Luis has covered the public sector and education. Now he focuses mainly on the financial sector.

Karel Bisson

Karel Bisson works as a pre-sales engineer, specializing in enterprise network technologies and data centers. He has been with Cisco for more than 5 years, assisting network design for multiple customers, while working with Cisco partners. Karel is based in Montreal, Canada and works there from the Cisco Regional Office. He has been a presenter at past Cisco Connect events, with sessions focusing on programmability in enterprise networks and campus fabric networks. Karel holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal.
