Event Overview

Cisco is proud to sponsor the fifth annual National Urban Areas Security Initiative (UASI) Conference in San Francisco. The conference will provide an opportunity for stakeholders from all areas of homeland security and emergency preparedness to gather together and exchange important information to make the U.S. safer.

Cisco Activities at the Conference

Cisco CEO John Chambers will be a keynote speaker, presenting on Secure Collaboration.

Cisco will also showcase its network emergency response vehicle (NERV). The NERV is a command and communications resource for first responders and other emergency personnel who require mission-critical networking to recover normal operations after catastrophic events. Cisco will host a booth, cyber café, and the NERV on:

  • June 20 from 2-8 p.m.
  • June 21 from 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
  • June 22 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
