Dinesh Malkani

Dinesh Malkani

Dinesh Malkani is President, Sales, Cisco India and SAARC. In this role, Dinesh leads sales and operations in the theatre.

In his earlier role, Dinesh was responsible for Cisco's Enterprise, Public Sector and Service Provider business across India & SAARC. He joined Cisco in 2010 and led the company's collaboration technologies team, in the APJC region, where it became a market leader.

With more than 22 years of experience in the IT and communications industry in APJC, Dinesh has held leadership positions in R&D, systems engineering and sales. He served as Country Manager in China and Korea in his earlier roles.


Ruma Balasubramanian

Ruma Balasubramanian
Vice President, Partner Organization, Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ)

Ruma Balasubramanian is the Vice President of Cisco's Partner Organization in the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. She is responsible for developing and enabling the growth strategy of Cisco's APJC partner ecosystem, including distributors, global strategic partners, independent software vendors (ISVs), systems integrators and resellers. Ruma leads a team that collaborates with more than 12,000 partners across the region to drive profitability, growth, and enablement for the partner community. As a member of Cisco's APJ senior leadership team, she works closely with Cisco's Global Partner Organization to scale global channel models to the APJ region, driving business growth across all market segments. In addition to nurturing existing partner relationships, Ruma is also responsible for building the future partnerships needed to deliver compelling value to customers.

Prior to her current role, Ruma was Cisco's Vice President, Sales Enablement, Asia Pacific, Japan, and Greater China (APJC), responsible for operationalizing the APJC growth strategy and served as the executive point of interface for APJC leaders into sales, services, and channel operations. She and her team were accountable for driving the efficiency and quality of operational processes and systems into the region, balancing standardization with localization. She led the change management efforts to transform Cisco's APJC sales and partner model through more direct alignment with global Cisco assets that enable new business, such as briefing centers, proof of concept capabilities, and sales and partner training.


Daisy Chittilapilly

Cisco India & SAARC

Daisy Chittilapilly leads the Partner Organization for India and SAARC and plays a fundamental role in the execution of Cisco's partner strategy across the region. Her charter is to identify and develop existing and new partnerships to drive Cisco business in the marketplace.

In her current role, Daisy willl help build and evolve Cisco's Partner Organization, and work with the team to direct investments at the right market opportunities. She will be involved in creating partner practices which drive scale and revenue growth for Cisco while maintaining profitable growth for partners.

In her previous role, Daisy led the ITS business for Cisco across the India and SAARC region and was responsible for driving strategy for IT Services, a key vertical for Cisco in India.


Dave West

Dave West
Vice President, Enterprise Networking Sales, APJ
Chief Technology Officer, APJ

Dave West is the Vice President for Enterprise Networking Sales and the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Systems Engineering and Architectures at Cisco Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). He is a fifteen-year Cisco veteran with deep experience across engineering, solutions and sales, leading the thousand systems engineers supporting customers and partners in the Enterprise, Commercial and Service Provider markets. Dave West is one of the greatest advocates of Cisco's networking business and technologies in the region, with a strong vision and understanding of the transitions happening in the market that need to be delivered in Cisco's architecture and solution offerings.

Previously, Dave West was the CTO for Cisco's Worldwide Partner Organization, where he was responsible for working with partners to enable technical excellence in the partner technical community.

Dave has held a variety of other positions at Cisco, including: Sr. Director, Public Sector Systems Engineering and Architectures leading the systems engineers and managers supporting Federal, State and Local Government, Education; Director, Center of Excellence for Public Sector Solutions; Senior Manager, Systems Engineering, Department of Defense and Intelligence; Senior Manager, Advanced Technologies, responsible for voice, security, optical, and wireless engineering and pre-sales support for federal customers and partners.


Bastiaan Toeset

Managing Director, Commercial Segment and Marketing
Asia Pacific and Japan

Bastiaan Toeset, Managing Director for Asia Pacific & Japan, is responsible for both the commercial segment and the marketing organization in the region.

Bastiaan is responsible for driving growth and profitability for Cisco's Commercial segment in the APJ region, building customer and partner intelligence and working closely with distribution and partner channels. As leader of APJ Marketing, Toeset engages customers and partners through traditional and digital marketing.

Since joining Cisco in 1999, he's held various leadership positions, including Director of Strategy and Planning in Japan and leading the APJC Customer Led organization.


Pravin Srinivasan

Pravin Srinivasan
Lead, Security Sales,
Cisco India & SAARC

Pravin Srinivasan leads the Security Architecture Sales business for Cisco in India. Pravin joins the Security Sales team with experience of more than 15 years of sales and business development besides sales management, the last 9 years of which was in Cisco performing a variety of roles.

Most recently in Cisco, Pravin was part of the India Commercial team where he was responsible for the development and execution of the "Vertizontal" strategy - working with the field sales / PSS teams as well as with partners to build business and vertical solutions around Cisco products and take them to customers across the region. Prior to this, he has had roles including Business Development for TelePresence, Sales Management, Business Development for Advanced Technologies and Account Management for Strategic Accounts.

Cisco will take care of your stay for two nights - October 28th -30th, 2015 - and all meals during the conference as per venues specified in the agenda. Check-in will commence on arrival on 28th October 2015. Attendees are required to bear the charges for laundry, tobacco, room service, mini bar, telephone, business center, Internet usage or any other expenses that are personal. Request you to clear all your dues of such kind with the hotel during consumption or while checking out.

Extended Stays

If you wish to extend your stay at the hotel, you will need to contact the hotel directly to update your reservation, based on availability.


You are responsible for your air transportation. There is no registration fee. Cisco will pay for two nights hotel accommodations, including taxes, and conference meals. Attendees are responsible for payment of incidental expenses and any additional nights.


Cisco will be providing Airport Transfers as part of the Partner Confluence services. Coaches will be available for transfers.

Conference Attire

Dress code for the confluence is smart business casuals.

Please ensure that you wear your Event badge throughout the duration of the event, as it will allow access to conference areas. A detailed agenda will be handed over to you on registration. Do refer to it for details of the conference.

  5. Q: Are Nominations allowed?

    A: The Cisco India Partner Confluence 2015 is an “invitation only” event. Each new registrant must go through the complete registration process for approval. Nominations will only be allowed after approval by the Cisco Partner Organisation Team.

  6. Q. May I register on behalf of another person?

    We encourage that you complete the registration process yourself as this is an invite-only event.

  7. Q. Do I need to wear my badge during the entire Partner Confluence event?

    Please wear your conference badge to all group functions and meetings so that you can be readily identified as an attendee of the Cisco India & SAARC Partner Confluence 2015. Please be assured that every precaution possible is being taken to ensure a safe and secure working environment at the Cisco India & SAARC Partner Confluence 2015. As such, please be aware that we will be asking for photo identification at registration before releasing a conference badge. Badges will need to be worn during the entire event.

  8. Q. Can I bring a guest? What functions are guests allowed to attend?

    No, the Cisco India & SAARC Partner Confluence 2015 is an invitation only event and Spouses and Guests will not be a part of the invitee list. In case you do want to bring along a companion you may do that at your own cost. Reservation and other related needs for the companion will have to be taken care of by you.

  9. Q. What should I wear to the Cisco India & SAARC Partner Confluence 2015?

    Business casual attire is appropriate for all Meetings & Conference sessions. The dress code for the Gala Banquet Dinner is Casual for all.

  10. Q. Can I get copies of the material presented at the conference?

    The presentations will be posted approximately one week after the Partner Confluence at the website where you originally registered.

  11. Q. What language is spoken?

    The official language of the conference is English and all general sessions will be presented in English.
