What hotels are available in Melbourne?
Cisco has negotiated rates at various hotels in Melbourne. Executive Symposium attendees are encouraged to stay at the Crown Towers, Crown Metropol or Crown Promenade Hotel due to their close proximity to the MCEC.

How much does it cost to attend the Executive Symposium?
There is no attendance fee for the Executive Symposium.

Who may attend the Executive Symposium?
The Executive Symposium is an exclusive, invitation only event.
I'm unable to attend the Executive Symposium. Can I nominate someone to attend on my behalf?
The Executive Symposium is an invitation only event and invitations are not generally transferable. However, if you believe that your nominated replacement has a similar job role, please contact us.
Why is attendance at the conference "by invitation only"?
Part of the value of this type of executive program is the peer to peer dialogue with industry colleagues and Cisco.To preserve the value of the program, attendance is targeted to senior executives in Enterprise and Government.
Does registration in the Executive Symposium include access to Cisco Live?
The Executive Symposium is complimentary for invited guests and includes access to Cisco Live. The Executive Symposium agenda includes keynote in the Cisco Live program. Guests are more than welcome to attend any part of Cisco Live that does not coincide with the Executive Symposium agenda.
Can I schedule a meeting with the Keynote Speakers during the event?
To ensure that everyone at the Executive Symposium has the opportunity to interact with the Keynote Speakers, we will not be scheduling any formal meetings. There will be many opportunities for discussions with speakers during the event breaks and the social functions.
Am I expected to attend all sessions and social functions?
Yes, to get maximum value out of the program , it will be beneficial to attend all sessions. However, should you be unavailable for any sessions and/or activities, please indicate this on your registration form.
What is the Dress Code?
The dress code for the daytime sessions is Business Casual. The dress code for evening events is Smart Casual.
Can I bring my partner & / or children?
You are welcome to bring your partner and/or children to Melbourne. Unfortunately, we are unable to extend your invitation to include partners or spouses at either the conference or evening events.
