Cisco’s Australia and New Zealand Partner Insight Awards celebrate innovation, leadership and excellence within the business partner community. Cisco will announce the winners on 8 March 2016 at its Partner Insight Program, as part of Cisco Live in Melbourne.

The awards were launched in 2012. “Cisco continues to be a business that is reliant upon and committed to its partners,” says Jason Brouwers, director of the Partner Business Group for Cisco® Australia and New Zealand. “We strive to support our partners to help them build their business, and as such we are proud to recognise those who have demonstrated the highest achievement.”

This year there are eight award categories for Cisco Partners to self-nominate. There are also additional award categories that are being nominated and judged internally at Cisco. Click here to view the winners!

The self-nominate categories are:

Innovation Partner of the Year To recognise a Partner who has shown an innovative, unusual, or creative approach in building an aspect of their Cisco business.  This could be around thought leadership, strategy, organisational structure, selling approach, marketing, investment and will have generated quantifiable business impact. Detail the use of Technology.
Internet of Everything Partner of the Year  To recognise a Partner or Solution Technology Integrator who is bringing the internet of everything story to life for their customers through developing the IoE story and having deployed it.  Detail proof of connecting People, Place, Things
Learning Partner of the Year To recognise a Learning Partner who has consistently demonstrated outstanding performance, not only delivering quality training, but also by developing and executing innovative and transformative business practices that better enable our partner community
Solutions Delivery Excellence Award of the Year To recognise a professional services & delivery engineer who has consistently deployed Cisco technologies & solutions for our customers. The individual has gone above & beyond in solving complex technical deployment challenges utilising Cisco technologies & solutions.
Technical Excellence Award of the Year To recognise a Pre-Sales Engineering professional who consistently positions Cisco technologies & solutions to customers addressing customer's requirements & challenges. The individual has gone above & beyond in highlighting Cisco value to our customers and in doing so has created new opportunities or innovative solutions.
Vertical Solution Innovation Partner of the Year To recognise a Partner or Independent Software Vendor who has developed subject matter expertise and created an ecosystem of partnerships that combines with their own offering(s) in order to successfully address the business requirements of one or more specific industry verticals.
Sales Partnership of the Year To recognise an outstanding sales partnership that occurred between a Partner and Cisco. Please include the sales person involved and how this engagement was successful and resulted in success (jointly and for the customer.)
Community Contribution Award of the Year Detailed description of the initiative, including:
-  the skills, capabilities and resources did the organisation contribute
-  the community benefit resulting from the contribution of the organisation
-  any partnerships or collaborations that were part of the initiative
-  how organisation employees were engaged in the program

Nominations for the Awards have now closed. Winners will be announced at Cisco Partner Insight during Cisco Live, on Tuesday 8 March 2016.

Terms and Conditions

Who can submit an application?
To enter the Partner Insight Awards at Cisco Live 2016 for partners in each category, partners must be a Cisco certified partner and listed on the Partner Central Partner List

Partner activity must be executed in either Australia or New Zealand

Activity must be executed between 1 January 2015 – 31 December 2015 (Calendar year 2015).
Results achieved within this timeframe will be taken into account.

Call for entries:
Entries must be submitted by 11:59pm AEST Friday 5 February 2016.
Winners will be announced at the Partner Insight Event at Cisco Live 2016 held in March 2016.

For each category, first prize consists of:

  1. Trophy
  2. Recognition in Cisco Issued Public Relations and Social Media around the Partner Insight awards.

Submission Format
Participating partners must create their submission using the relevant online form.
Only online submission within the specified word limit will be accepted.
For each of the eight categories, there are four judging criteria outlined in the online submission forms.

Judging Format
All winners were selected by a group of Cisco Australia and New Zealand Partner and Country executives.
