소개
일반적인 브리지는 OSI(Open System Interconnection) 참조 모델의 데이터 링크 레이어(레이어 2)에서 작동합니다.브리지는 해당 프레임의 MAC(Media Access Control) 주소를 기반으로 수신 프레임을 필터링, 전달 또는 플러딩합니다.
브리징은 케이블 모뎀이 온라인 상태일 때 발생하는 기본 컨피그레이션입니다.
브리징 애플리케이션에서 Cisco uBR900 Series 케이블 액세스 라우터는 Cisco IOS® Software 릴리스 12.0.5T1 이상을 실행할 때 이더넷 포트에서 최대 254개의 디바이스에 대해 투명한 브리지 역할을 합니다.이전 버전의 Cisco IOS Software는 Cisco uBR900 시리즈 라우터의 이더넷 포트에서 최대 3개의 디바이스를 지원합니다.
이 구성은 Cisco IOS Software 릴리스 12.0(7)T 및 Cisco uBR7223에서 Cisco IOS Software 릴리스 12.1(2)T를 실행하는 uBR904에서 테스트되었습니다.
