Introduzione

Questo documento descrive la nuova analisi dei file protetti da password (PPFA) aggiunta a Email Security Appliance (ESA) versione 14.X.

Cisco raccomanda la conoscenza dei concetti e della configurazione ESA.

Componenti usati

Le informazioni di questo documento si basano su AsyncOS per ESA 14.0 e versioni successive.

Le informazioni discusse in questo documento fanno riferimento a dispositivi usati in uno specifico ambiente di emulazione. Su tutti i dispositivi menzionati nel documento la configurazione è stata ripristinata ai valori predefiniti. Se la rete è operativa, valutare attentamente eventuali conseguenze derivanti dall'uso dei comandi.

Premesse

In precedenza, non era possibile analizzare il contenuto di un documento protetto da password o di un file allegato come PDF, Doc, ZIP e così via, perché la password era sconosciuta.

Con l'introduzione di PPFA, le e-mail che contengono allegati protetti da password possono essere analizzate per rilevare attività dannose e privacy dei dati se la password è presente nel corpo del messaggio.

Di seguito è riportato l'elenco dei formati supportati:

Considerazioni

PPFA è disattivato per impostazione predefinita.

I file allegati protetti da password possono essere analizzati solo se la password è presente nel corpo del messaggio. Le password fanno distinzione tra maiuscole e minuscole e non riconoscono lo "spazio". 

È ora supportato un elenco di massimo 5 password fornite dall'amministratore.

Procedura di configurazione

Interfaccia grafica dell'utente

Per configurare PPFA dalla GUI, selezionare Security Service > Scan Behavior > Edit Global Settings > Scanning of Password-protected Attachments > choose to Enable for Inbound Mail traffic/Outbound Mail Traffic or Both >Submit >Commit

CLI (Command Line Interface)

Per configurare PPFA dalla CLI, eseguire il comando scanconfig > PROTECTEDATTACHMENTCONFIG > Commit

Scan password protected attachments configuration unchanged.

Per aumentare il numero massimo di password estratte da un corpo del messaggio e-mail, il comando nascosto "scanconfig > password_list_size" può essere utilizzato nella CLI. Puoi configurare un massimo di 10 password.

Risoluzione dei problemi e verifica

In questo esempio, il filtro contenuti con le condizioni:

1. il contenuto dell'allegato contiene "test" e
2. se l'allegato è protetto da password

quindi action è log "!!!!!file is passwordprotected!!!!!"

b) Dai log di content_scanner è possibile verificare se il file è stato estratto correttamente

Verifica della riuscita del processo da parte della GUI

Passare a Verifica messaggi e filtrare l'ID del messaggio.
