Introducción
Este documento describe el procedimiento de configuración y verificación inicial para configurar el switch Catalyst 9600.
Prerequisites
Requirements
Cisco recomienda que tenga conocimiento sobre estos temas:
Asegúrese de que el chasis y el supervisor están instalados de acuerdo con las guías de instalación.

- Conecte el PC a la consola de Catalyst 9600 con RJ45 o USB
- Encienda el sistema
- Observe que la consola imprime la inicialización del hardware del sistema y otra información en la pantalla

Configurar
Configure el puerto de administración con una dirección IP de la red y habilite el puerto.

Configure una ruta estática para alcanzar la puerta de enlace predeterminada para la red de administración, utilice la red IP y la puerta de enlace.

Configure Line VTY (Línea VTY), Virtual Terminal (Terminal virtual) para acceder a través de telnet y establecer una contraseña de su elección.

Configure el nombre de host para el sistema.
