Los relojes normales son el tipo de reloj más común en una red PTP porque se utilizan como nodos extremos en una red que está conectada a dispositivos que requieren sincronización. Los relojes ordinarios tienen varias interfaces a los dispositivos externos. |
Reloj de límites (BC) | Un reloj de límite en una red PTP funciona en lugar de un router o switch de red estándar. Los relojes fronterizos tienen más de un puerto PTP y cada puerto proporciona acceso a una ruta de comunicación PTP independiente. Los relojes de límite proporcionan una interfaz entre dominios PTP. Comprobar regulación del plano de control
Los paquetes PTP se procesan a través de la cola de latencia baja. El tráfico PTP comparte el índice de políticas con otros tipos de tráfico de red, por lo que es mejor verificar que no haya caídas incrementales en el plano de control.
