David Meads was appointed to lead Cisco’s business and operations in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) in July 2017. Based out of Dubai, UAE, Meads oversees the execution of Cisco’s strategy across the two regions, ensuring the worldwide technology leader maintains its momentum at the forefront of digital transformation efforts.
Clayton Naidoo is the General Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa. He is responsible for executing a regional-wide vision and strategy that delivers transformational value to our customers and partners; driving growth across all segments in all architectures; managing and achieving operational excellence; and continuing to develop strategic relationships across entire ecosystem to drive a digital agenda for Sub-Saharan Africa.
David Bunei was appointed Country General Manager (GM) for Cisco East Africa and Indian Ocean Islands based in Kenya in September 2015. His previous roles over his nine years at Cisco include Territory Business Manager and various roles in technical and sales management covering East, Central and West Africa.
Olakunle Oloruntimehin is the General Manager for Cisco in Nigeria, responsible for all areas of Cisco's business across government and private sector organizations. He also works closely with Cisco's partner ecosystem in the region. His responsibilities extend to driving and forging close relationships with government and private sector stakeholders, while ensuring that Cisco's business objectives and goals are closely aligned.
Steven is responsible for Commercial Sales for Middle East and Africa. In his role he drives commercial sales teams by utilising best practices to drive growth in the business.
Andi is the HR Consultant for Southern Africa and a HR strategic partner to the SSA Leadership Team. Andi brings an ability to strengthen the link between people and strategy as well as manage, motivate and retain people resources. Andi has extensive hands-on experience leading HR initiatives including policy design, compensation, performance management, recruiting, compliance reporting, HRIS implementations, HR workflow development, training and development, and benefits administration. Andi has experience in various industries including professional services, technology, corporate investment banking and insurance.
Alfie Hamid is the Regional Manager for Cisco Corporate Affairs in Sub-Saharan Africa, and is based at Cisco South Africa. He joined Cisco in 2006 and is responsible for the management of Corporate Affairs CSR initiatives across Sub-Saharan Africa. His role focuses on the development and management of an integrated business and marketing plan for the implementation and sustainability of CSR initiatives within the region, primarily focusing on Cisco’s Networking Academy program. Key to this is the maintenance and development of relationships and partnerships with key government stakeholders, influencers and private sector organisations.
Cathy Burns joined Cisco in November 2010 as the Marketing Manager for South Africa. After a successful tenure, she was promoted to lead the fully integrated Africa marketing team. In this role, she is responsible for contributing to revenue growth through integrated marketing campaigns and targeted lead generation activities. She is also in charge of ensuring that sales and marketing are always aligned to achieve business priorities.
Charmaine Houvet’s love and passion for the ICT industry comes from over two decades of telecommunications experience working with private and public sector organizations across Africa.
With over 25 years’ Sales and Engineering experience, Craig is a 17 year Cisco veteran and Director of Global Service Provider, (GSP) Service Provider (SP) & Cloud for Africa at Cisco, having taken on the role in August 2010.
Colin Allkin has been a qualified Attorney for the past 22 years. Of these 22 years, he has been
General Legal Counsel to Cisco Systems South Africa for the past eight years.
Fadila Mohamed is the SSF Finance Lead for Sub-Saharan Africa (Southern Africa, East Africa and West Africa) and is based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Fadila is a qualified Chartered Accountant and registered with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2005. She has extensive strategic finance business partnering experience in the ICT industry and joined Cisco in October 2018 from the Telkom Group. She has also previously worked for Microsoft South Africa and MTN South Africa.
Garsen Naidu was appointed as the Regional Sales Manager for Cisco Southern Africa in October 2015
and in July 2017 was promoted to Head of Channel for Cisco’s Sub-Saharan Africa region which includes
Southern, Eastern, and English-speaking Western Africa.
Bruce Peters is responsible for the Commercial business for Cisco’s Southern Africa region. He first joined Cisco in September 2011 working as a Partner Account Manager before being promoted to Regional Sales Manager. Peters has collected more than 18 years’ experience in the ICT sector working in various managerial roles. He was a Financial Manager at Dimension Data, holding the position for almost seven years before moving on to similar positions at Kathea Communications, Bromide Technologies and Westcon South Africa (now Westcon-Comstor South Africa). His last role prior to joining Cisco was Business Unit Manager at WestconComstor South Africa.
Haley Williams is the BEE and Transformation Lead for Cisco South Africa. In this role she interlocks
Cisco’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and go-to-market strategies and ensures that Cisco
complies with BBBEE policies. She joined Cisco in October 2015 as the CSR Manager for Southern
Africa, a tenure she completed successfully before she was promoted to her current role.
Stephan is the Services Sales Director for Africa, based in Johannesburg and responsible for all service sales and services related operations across Africa. He has a highly skilled team of Service Sales Account Managers across Africa, who deal with customers in all sectors of the Cisco business, namely Commercial, Enterprise, Public Sector and Service Provider.
Sthe Shabangu has over 18 years’ experience in brand reputation; brand building, Strategic Communications & Public Relations.
Sthe joined Cisco in July 2018 as PR and Communications lead for Africa.
