Jeffrey M. White
President, Cisco India & SAARC

Jeff White is President of India & SAARC for Cisco. White is responsible for sales, operations, growth initiatives and investments throughout the India & SAARC region. Under White's leadership, the region is one of the most dynamic and fastest-growing regions for Cisco. In India & SAARC, Cisco employs more than 11,800 people and is home to the company’s second headquarters. The India & SAARC region is also a proving ground for many of the company's most advanced and innovative technologies.

White has been with Cisco since 1997 and has held a number of leadership positions in the US and the Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China (APJC) region across channels, IT, managed services, infrastructure, service provider and enterprise businesses. Prior to his current role, White was Vice President for Cisco's Service Provider segment in APJC. Before joining Cisco, White held a number of positions in sales leadership at Ameritech, an Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier, and at Anixter, a national system integrator.

White is a frequent speaker at industry and government events on the innovation potential of technology to transform business and society. He is a member of the Executive Council of Nasscom, the premier trade body for the IT-BPO Industry in India.

Complementing his professional affiliations, White spends time working with not-forprofits raising money for charitable causes for underprivileged children and families. White holds a Bachelor of Science in business management from the University of Cincinnati and a Masters of Business Administration with Honors, specializing in international business from the University of Texas - Dallas.

Diwakar Dayal

Diwakar Dayal
Head of Security Architecture Business Group Cisco, India & SAARC

He has over 16 years of experience in sales, strategy & security consulting involving advanced technology solutions in IT Networking, Security & Collaboration areas working with global organizations like Cisco, Juniper, Dimension Data, Sify & Wipro.

In his current role with Cisco, he is responsible for building the security business and drive Go-To-market for Cisco Security Architecture team in India working with sales, marketing, system engineering and partner organization business units in helping customers & partners successfully leverage Cisco security technology to solve complex security & business issues. Diwakar joined Cisco in 2010 and prior to this role, he was responsible for helping grow Telepresence business in India and drive the Go-To-market for VXC business for Asia as part of the Collaboration Architecture group.

Before Cisco, Diwakar was with Juniper Networks as Head of Banking & Financial Services Vertical responsible for creating Juniper's entry into Indian FSI market. In an earlier role with Juniper, he was also responsible for the Advanced Technology portfolio growing the Security & WAN Acceleration business for India & SAARC in both service provider and enterprise markets.

Prior to that, Diwakar also worked with Dimension Data, where he helped setup the Security Line of Business working with multiple leading security industry vendors. Diwakar has also spent time on the consulting and system integration business as part of Wipro & Sify where he was responsible for helping build the PKI Security business around Verisign products and offering Security consulting services to large enterprise customers.

Vikas Giridhar

Unified Access and Mobility Sales Lead, Cisco, India & SAARC

With a primary focus on accelerating broader adoption of the technologies, he has been actively involved in creating an extended partner ecosystem. Vikas Giridhar is the Unified Access and Mobility sales lead -India & SAARC for CISCO and has overall responsibility for sales and marketing for these product lines. With a primary focus on accelerating broader adoption of the technologies, he has been actively involved in creating an extended partner ecosystem with leading global and local Systems Integrators, Software Vendors, other equipment manufacturers, standards and governmental organizations to help bring to market industry solutions that will enable companies to deploy Security and Wireless technologies more efficiently and cost effectively.

Mr. Giridhar has also been responsible for deployment activities for many of CISCO key reference projects in the region Through real world implementation experience he has gained tremendous insight on both the technical and the business application of the technologies and spends a large part of his time conducting industry training and consulting with prospective customers to help them with their Mobility and Wireless initiatives.

A 15 year veteran of the hi-tech industry, he has been actively involved in launching and growing technology businesses in the South Asia regions with Fortune 500 companies including Motorola Alcatel, Avaya & Orange Business Services. He currently resides in New Delhi.

Giridhar holds a Bachelor or Science Degree in Electrical & Communication Engineering from kurushertra University and a Masters Degree in International Business He is married with one children and his personal hobbies/Interes in Creative Advertising (turn negative to positive), and participating in different social activities.

Swapna Bapat

Swapna Bapat
Head Market Strategy, Enterprise Networking Group, Cisco India

Swapna has been working in the Telecommunications Industry for the last 15 years. A career spanning product development and Product Management, she has worked with Service Providers and Enterprises worldwide, driving product and solution innovation, to enable services such as IPTv, mobility and Internet communication. In her current role, Swapna heads Market Strategy for the Enterprise Networking Group Cisco India, and is responsible for new opportunity identification, portfolio positioning and growing the business in India. She holds a patent in VPN technologies.

Swapna has a BTech in Electrical Engineering and a Master's in Computer Science from University of Massachusetts Lowell.

In her free time, she actively promotes education awareness for the Indian Girl child and enjoys spending time with her children.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) & is a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) with very strong background in IT security domain and passionate enthusiast & speaker on Cyber Security.

Jimmy Ray

Jimmy Ray Purser has been in the networking field for over 25 years. He has a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and is writing his final thesis for his Master's in Physics. As an active member of the Institute for Electronic and Electrical Engineers and the Ethernet Alliance, Jimmy Ray helped grow the Ethernet from kilobits to gigabits.

Jimmy Ray joined Cisco in 2006, to take part in a new program Cisco was rolling out in their US/Canada marketing group. He soon became the self proclaimed "Chief Geek for Cisco's TechWiseTV show, an online video program, as well as the host of the online technology workshops. The show's popularity grew and eventually went global. Once this happened, TechWiseTV became known around the world. But India is where it really took off! Topping the US numbers after the first couple of shows, Jimmy Ray became a big hit with the India IT crowd, because of their huge quest for knowledge, and has thousands of fans following him on twitter and facebook.
