  • RISC/UNIX Discovery Session is designed for customers who are beginning the process of migrating their current RISC/UNIX environment. This session is a brief engagement to confirm customer priorities, concerns, ROI requirements, and migration timeframes. Following the session, Cisco provides a high-level TCO analysis and applicable case studies
  • RISC/UNIX Migration Acceleration Service is a 4-5 week, onsite engagement for customers who have already decided to migrate their RISC/UNIX environment to an x86-based platform and want to validate the UCS as a platform for migration. This service will migrate selected applications to the Cisco UCS to demonstrate technical feasibility of a full migration. It also provides a total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis for migration based on data specific to your environment.
  • RISC/UNIX Migration Service is a comprehensive service to help migrate your production, RISC/UNIX-based data center compute platforms to Cisco UCS. Cisco will develop a complete migration strategy for the applications and data to be migrated and a high-level migration roadmap. After you approve the strategy, Cisco will develop a detailed migration plan based upon application dependencies, service-level agreements, and operational requirements. The migration plan will flow into a target architecture, low-level design and project plan for implementation.
