Cisco and the Future of Work for the Next Normal

Monday, August 3, 12:00–12:30pm (EST)

The way we work has forever changed. Work is not a place you go, it's what you do. And as we navigate this next normal, employers are preparing for a hybrid model of a remote and in-office workforce. With this shift comes new challenges to solve for to keep your data secure and your employees safe, productive, and engaged, while also keeping your customers satisfied. In this session, Javed Khan, SVP and GM, Cisco Collaboration will discuss how the right collaboration tools and technology can ease some of the digital challenges encountered by employees and IT so we can ultimately meet less, connect more, and get stuff done.

Speaker: Javed Khan, SVP and GM, Cisco Collaboration

From Luxury to Necessity: How Customers Moved Forward During a Pandemic with Cisco Webex Collaboration

Tuesday, August 4, 12:00–12:30pm (EST)

Almost overnight, we went from our normal rhythm – commutes, kids in school, visiting doctor’s offices, eating out – to a new normal: #remotework from home, #remotelearning at universities, #telemedicine to enable remote patient care, and even contact center agents have become #remoteagents. At the same time, we had to learn how to keep things moving forward. Cisco’s Webex Collaboration tools became a critical enabler of the new normal, and we’ve invited three customers to share their stories. Hear from Georgia Department of Public Health, Under Armour, and Pickens County School District on their pivot to remote work, the challenges they encountered, lessons learned, and their perspective on the future of work.

Moderator: Aruna Ravichandran, CMO/VP Marketing, Cisco Webex Collaboration Marketing

Panelists:

  • Karen Dean, Head of Collaboration Technologies, Under Armour
  • Barbara Nesbitt, Assistant Superintendent for Technology Services, Pickens County School District
