Configuring Loopback Interfaces
Configuring Loopback Interfaces
The Configure > Interface > Logical Interfaces page lists all the logical interfaces on the device.
To configure settings for a loopback interface, select the interface from the list in the Logical Interfaces section.
In the Logical Interfaces Setup section, enter a description for the interface.
To configure an IPv4 interface, assign an IPv4 address and subnet mask to the interface.
To configure an IPv6 intreface:
Assign an IPv6 address and prefix to the interface.
Enter the IPv6 DHCP server address.
Enter the maximum transmission unit (MTU) for the interface. The MTU should be between 68 and 1514 bytes.
Enter the IGMP version you want to use with multicast traffic on your network. IGMP versions 1, 2, and 3 are supported. The default version is 2.
To enable the interface, set the Interface Status field to On.
